Advising them to split up from the team and play angles is good advice and all, but you underestimate how quick low ranks are to flame you for "abandoning the team"
Who cares what low ranked players say to you? If you know what you’re doing is right just do it. Mute text/voice chat if needed. It’s much better than listening to bad advice from gold/plat teammates who have no idea how to play the game.
@@zzzetsuboI agree with you, but if both your DPS start throwing because of your perceived abandoning then you can be right all you want, you're probably still losing haha
@@zzzetsubo A big part of team games is team morale. Seeing as gamers aren't generally known for being social butterflies sometimes you have to baby them for the sake of them performing better.
I'll even play with my group of friends and when I'm on DPS I'll try and off angle, not far from the team either I'm still in Los of the healer, and one of my friends will always say "you're too spread out! We need to group up" and I'm over here killing off a healer or whatever. Like I'll come back when I get my pick. 😂
@@poot2762 that’s just their problem tbh…if DPS players throw your game because you don’t babysit them it means they’re crybabies and they rely on others to win instead of focusing on their own gameplay. Avoid them and go next, and if you get them on the enemy team that’s a free win 👍
I had a comp game where the mercy trolled and refused to heal any. (She ended the game with 0 healing.) But we still managed to clutch at the end. Moral of the story; some people suck, dont let them ruin your game.
I recently had an awful match but everyone was accusing a different player of being the issue. I wlll never understand how anyone can stay in the match and expect to do well while complaining their every move.
They need to either add vote kick or the ability to just leave games. This tank just tortured his team for 30 minutes. I bet those players just immediately logged off and didn't play for the rest of the week.
@@bobothebob4716 I am not saying he did perfect. I am saying that getting angry and tilting others usually results in a worse performance, overall. People get emotional and defensive and try to prove the complainer wrong.
@@kecleonic I just think it's a game design problem. Forcing people to play on teams they don't want to play on anymore will naturally breed animosity in the playerbase and toxicity. How could you keep competitive integrity and allow players to leave? I'm not sure. Maybe we just have to accept the current design; that the competitive nature of the game will just naturally cause toxicity.
I think it lies in human nature to want to prove someone wrong when challenged. But a lot of the time we fail to realize we'd be better off just not letting it get to us. I think most people probably feel worse after having one of those matches, but still we keep tilting
Juno main with close to 100hrs under my belt here. You were not playing great but Juno should be playing around cover, her only real threat is Widow. If it's post nerf Juno I understand a lil more the frustration since at long range her poke & heals feels terrible so they probably felt hopeless when you dove, fed, and died so fast as Winton.
