When i first heard of dmc a few years ago i thought dante was the villain oh how wrong i was 😂

Honestly I’d love the idea of a spinoff where Dante is the main villain with Vergil as the mc logically speaking Dante should’ve been the one destined to be in Vergil’s place and vice versa since birth. Vergil was the older and more sophisticated bother, so Sparta handed him the Yamato, the “key to the underworld”, as a responsibility, while Dante got a sword that doesn’t exactly have a power, but when combined with Devil sword Sparda, allows him to do the opposite of what the Yamato does, combine man and devil into one. It’s likely sparda did this so that if he ever passes, Dante could fuse with the sparda, to gain the strength to reside in the underworld, slaying any demon he encounters, while Vergil, the cool headed older brother, could hold the key and protect the overworld from the surface. But it’s likely sparda expected that Dante might go off the rails with it, so he gave Vergil the power to separate man from devil, so if need be he can forcefully tear apart SDT, separating Dante from his demonic power directly, and slay it from there.

Wow, if Dante and Vergil switched, I think Vergil will revenge for Nero's life and is good father and Dante will become a cold and lone person, but he don't will hunt demon for peace, but for power, of course, he love eat 🍕 too. This is my perspective.
