Also yesterday they revealed that they're having a comeback in July so we can all get excited for that too! Once you've delved deeper into the storyline to understand the lore, definitely take a look at how they announced this comeback because it will literally blow your mind
Fun fact : Ateez was only a dance group before they went into the idol industry, so it is self-explanatory that their dance performance and stage presence is already top-tier as a dancing group requires both of that. ATEEZ is KQ Entertainment's first idol group to be debuted in fact. KQ was only a producing company before the creation of ATEEZ, that's why Hongjoong applied the position of a producer to work with Eden (their main producer), but KQ made a decision to take him in not only as an apprentice producer under Eden but their first idol trainee.
Hongjoong applied to KQ because he wanted to be an idol who produced is own music. And he was quite persistent and thats why KQ took a chance on him. At first Eden was reluctant to accept him and train him. They were not a dance group. I don't know where you got that information. As a matter of fact both WY and YS were trainees even before joining KQ.

Both these MVs were shot in Morocco. I would recommend watching their videos in chronological order so next would be Say My Name & Hala Hala (the 2 title tracks) & also Promise which was a video they shot for Atiny while on the European leg of their world tour (which they did 4 months after they debuted).
Storyline wise watching the MV's in order is gonna be a bit messy, just so you know it isn't gonna line up 100%, but it is however a great way of seeing how Ateez evolve. There are different ways to watch them grow, either you go for MV's + listening to each album, or only MV’s or you do either of those + their covers and collabs. I personally think Ateez strongest points are their stage presents (cause it got FLAVOR, it’s unique to each person), personality, dance ability and I don’t even think I have to mention their voices haha. Like every fan ever, I wanna say how under appreciated Ateez are… but it’s so true when it comes to them. They are not apart of the big 3(4), they never had that privilege. There are some different ’lines’ in Ateez. You will soon notice our ’demon line’: San, Hongjoong and Seonghwa. And why they got that title. My favourite thing is to watch new Atiny discover Ateez, and one thing you mentioned with Hongjoong and Mingi building of each other, it’s one of my favourite things when they rap right after each other. They both got their own flows and experiment a lot with how they rap, it really keeps you engaged throughout their whole discography. Can’t wait for your next reaction! :)
I can't wait to watch them evolve! I haven't decided if I'll do full album reactions yet or listen to them on my own time, but I'll definitely react to stage performances and mvs!

I just have some songs that I loooove seeing others listen to for the first time. Ateez was one of the first kpop bands I got into, I deep dived straight away so I totally get it if you just wanna enjoy some songs on your own. We´ll happily take whatever you might wanna share w us! :)
Ateez had such a strong debut that critics were swearing they couldn't be Rookies! #ROTY Atiny have come to the conclusion that San has no bones. You hold see the concert footage from when Jongho's mic went out & they still heard him in the back of the balcony rows. Their logo also changes with every comeback.
I really wouldn't have thought they were rookies if I didn't know better! Jongho has such a strong voice, I wouldn't be surprised if he could belt it and be heard for miles haha
KQ is a small company so they don't have the huge amount of money that the Big 4 have to do massive promotions but our fandom Atiny is dedicated to Ateez forever. Atiny's come in all shapes, sizes and ages and we are more about supporting our boys than we are streaming for numbers. We would love to see them get more recognition and awards but it's hard to go against the likes of STAY's or Army. To us Atiny though it doesn't matter whether they win awards or not because they are doing their thing and they are doing it for us. Ateez for ever!!
They mentioned in an interview that the growl in Pirate King is actually a mix of Yunho, Mingi and Eden mixing up their growls. anyway, thank you for reacting to Ateez and enjoy your journey! :D
yes i agree with u they are very underrated especially that they from small company not like a lot of others groups, and although hongjoong did not do these two songs but he create a lot of ateez songs and all of them are really amazing and he participate with eden for every ateez song so he is underrated too lol and i really get mad sometimes when ppl did not know that he wrote, produce and compose these song because he is very hard worked man and great leader and they all are amazing in everything they do, anyway i hope u enjoy this
Glad you're reacting to these guys- they're absolutely incredible! I would encourage you if you decide to keep looking deeper into Ateez to make sure you watch not just their MVs, but also their performances like you did in this video! Their music videos are fantastic and add to the story, but their performances are jaw-dropping.

Just to clarify, Hong Joong is an amazing writer/composer/arranger, but these 2 songs aren't his work. He does write for most songs (as does Mingi), usually the rap sections, but there's a production team behind the group. Eden is their main producer, you saw him in the first guide you watched where Jongho was singing in the booth and they were happy with the vocals. Within KQ -- which is largely comprised of music writers and producers; ATEEZ is their first idol group -- Eden has a team of people, Edenary, who work on the group's music. You'll often see them credited, including Buddy, HLB, Leez, and later stuff for Ollounder, Olive, Peperoni, etc. If you're wanting to keep up with the lore, watching in order is important, but you'll also need to keep an eye on the ATEEZ's YT channel in general to see what's out there, since not everything is an MV, and you'll probably want to hear each album before you move on to the next comeback/title, because they very often have things that are eluded to later on, and themes that repeat. The lore is crazy deep, and I'd maybe watch as much as possible before reading/watching some of the lore theories so you can go "whoa, WHAT!?" because, for example, there was a flag in an early 2020 MV that contained a reference to a song lyric on a title track released in December. They also carried their lore into/through their Kingdom stage performances, so those are worth watching when you get there. Because of your interest in their dancing, I'd recommend the KQ Fellaz episodes which show their pre-debut times and their training in LA. It's a good opportunity to see where they started and see how much they've developed as a group, as dancers, as vocalists/rappers, as performers. There are behind-the-scenes videos for every MV, so those help to see where they were and how they shot them. The one for these two videos shows the conditions they worked in during filming in Morocco. And allll the dance practices are worth it. Despite being a smaller company, btw, KQ seems to be pretty good with the group's development. They've filmed MVs in Spain, Morocco, Australia, Moscow, Saipan, LA and NYC. Their first tour was 15 cities in March/April, then 2 more in Australia in August, and that first date was just slightly shy of 4 months after debut. While they were smaller venues, it's still such a huge accomplishment for all. There's also content from that first world tour in Long Journey. Welcome to the rabbit hole! I hope you love the time you spend learning about this phenomenal group.
I greatly appreciate when someone points out color schemes because I have a whole conspiracy theory about the Red/Blue dichotomy in the Treasure series and the Yellow/Green in the Zero Fever series of MVs and even the album colors. Even the members have a Red/Blue hair (or some variant of warm vs cool color) every CB with some CBs being decidedly Red in presentation and no Blue haired member ie San in HALA HALA and Jonho (red) and San (pink) in Fireworks: very Red MVs and no Blue hair. What does it meeeeean ATEEZ? 🤯

I just knew them from Kingdom:The Legendary War last month (but the program is from last year) and on this whole month, I started browsing and watching their MV and I knew that the music I wanted is this kind of stuff and I need this kind of energy. Ateez is called kings of performance for their stage presence as noone does it like them or cant. Sm Ateez contents would be great. Warning most kpop groups chaotic but Ateez is on a different level. If you want to see something funny, you should check out the Ateez Meme-song by pawpaw with subtitles. Then you definitely see what kind of creakheads- cuties you decided to Stan. Lot of the fandom jokes are in there too. As for music next album are title tracks Hala Hala (dance live video) and Say my name (MV). On that album is also a music video of the song Promise (selfmade MV) as a thank you for Atinys, after selling out their world tour.
