Butters voice has actually changed 3 times. Mid seasons was the best. (The most popular) in the newer seasons he sounds to serious and more mature. Listen to his voice seasons 1-3 then 4-12 then listen after season 19
@@Omnificence2016 Yes. She was suffering from Depression. She was a great VA. Voiced Characters in Disney Movies, Extreme Ghostbusters, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, and was Timmy Turners and original Voice
It's actually pretty cool when you think about it. When the series started, Eric was a crude-talking squawking, swearing and sometimes incomprehensible kid. But as the series continued, he became more clever, manipulative and well-spoken, fitting with his more elaborate plans and schemes. It's sort of like Buzz in Home Alone 1 VS Buzz in Home Alone 2.
I’ve been reading the comments and apparently Mary (voiced Wendy in the beginning) killed herself so no one went thru puberty, the voice actor just changed
cartman and wendy’s voices are the ones i miss the most, but ik cartman’s voice was hurting trey and wendy’s og voice actor passed. but they forever will be my favorite
I actually prefer butters newer voice, season 4-26, which i guess isn’t that much newer but I prefer the direction Matt went with for butter voice after developing his character a bit more.
seeing the change that the boys have had with their voices,I think it's time to see the children as teenagers in future episodes, it would be something very interesting
@@hal2922Eliza Schneider (the first Wendy successor) replicated Bergman's performance. Wendy's voice got deeper when April Stewart was cast, since Trey liked the voice better that way.
Dang i was thinking how like Cartman and Chefs voice acting alwaus carried the show but all of them sounded pretty good in the early seasons. Now kyle and stan are too deep and similar
As someone who has played around with audio editing a lot, I keep imagining that they used a pitch shift feature like the one from Audacity to assist in altering their voices to different octaves.
They kinda honored Bergman by making all of the characters she voiced different after her death. As if to say, “those characters were hers, and now these characters are ours.”
