On this day, we the people of Khwünoria (Khonoma) celebrate the 77th Rüffüno Day. Our joy is also doubled as we anticipate the celebration of Baptist Church Khonoma’s 125th year in 2022.
The song, 'Theja Kecha', reminds us to cherish and celebrate the gift of life. It calls us to nurture and grow the attitude and values of Peace, Unity, Love and Good Spirit where they are truly found in God Himself. The most loved song among our people 'A Ra Kezievi' is interwoven into this musical arrangement.
What is the message we want to convey? It is simply this, life is truly precious and it is meant to be lived in harmony - with nature, with fellow people and with God. May this song lead us towards thinking and doing what we can to make the little corner of the world we each inhabit turn a little better and beautiful as we share our life with those around us!
