Nice VDO During my last visit to Thekkady we were told that the road from Main gate to Boating point/Aranya Niwas/ Periyar house. In that case what is the entry point for Night Trail, Is it organised by Govt or Private Organisation.

That's really sad & frustrating for students like me who don't have much money to spend & coming from different states to stay a few days close to nature. I know yt comment section is not a perfect place to ask this but, can you please recommend a few places where I can hike/trek & bring my tent to stay for a few days along the journey in southern India close to nature without getting into trouble? @@BestToWonder The tent stay is not permitted in any of the national park or Wildlife sanctuary in India especially in Kerala because the animal density is bit high here. You may get attacked by elephants or other animals in National park at night. You can choose Vattavada, Wagamon, Poondi, area to stay in own tents.
