I was there for this performance and was just blown away! Everyone was shocked on how spot on the George guy was. I saw the band do the Rubber Soul era set and they also killed it. Go see and support Them Beatles if you have a chance!
I've been a Beatle fan since Feb. 1964 when I was 12 years old, heard a lot of original Beatle music over my life, I have a good ear for Beatle music and the sound of those instruments used. These guys are nailing this era of Beatlemania.
So great, playing Beatles classics that other Beatle Tribute bands don't play. And more importantly, playing them and sounding just like the young Beatles.
This band is this closest I've ever imagined you could get to The Beatles. They have the little things down such as personalities, the guitars are accurate and they even dress correctly. In fact, they even have Paul wearing his bracelet! 9:15
I still the think the Fab Four is the ultimate beatles tribute band, but these guys are fantastic as well. They play some of the beatles earliest songs and I just love the way they bounce around to the music. Reminds me of the Rutles.
I'd say these are much better for early stuff, definitely one of the best....fab four is just an extremely talented bunch of lads, check out "studio two" though
The Fab Four is awful. They wear heavy, heavy stage makeups, and ridiculous wigs. All the members are old men. The John Lennon is a chubby Hispanic guy, who is way too "lighthearted" as John, and brings absolutely no form of aggression, or passion. I do like Artie, the Fab Four's Paul, but otherwise you can have em...
Welll done! Really captures the energy of the Cavern!!Great versions of The Donays, Devil in her Heart & Smokey Robinson's You Really Got a Hold on Me.Wow.Anna.
They sound talk and play a lot like The Beatles themselves. They're one of the best tribute bands I've seen. John's scouse accent is a little too present while singing. Edit: Except It Won't Be Long which sounded a lot like the original song. Also, Paul needs a Cavern Bass, but that's just me being picky.
THE ONLY SONG THEY DIDN'T DO LIKE THE BEATLES WAS 'HOLD ME TIGHT'. WAS VERY DISORGANIZED NOT UP TO PART WITH THE BEATLES. THERE WAS IN 2012 A BEATLES TRIBUTE BAND CALLED 'THE CAVERN BEATS' AND THEY DID THIS SONG EXACTLY LIKE THE BEATLES.
