I am a skateboarder from the 00s who grew up with a blader as best friend. Totally enjoy this part, it looks so fluid & precise. Although I have no damn idea what any of the tricks is named after or how difficult it is, It made me happy to see a Broskow part in 2021. I believe it's all incredible difficult!
same except skateboarder from the mid 90s. i wasnt really skateing or paying attention when the booters got booted from the xgames so i totally missed it. im back on the wooden plank now and was wondering what tf happened to all the rollerbladers. then i dug and found the story. Alot of them are blaming Arlo for the downfall lol. All like he should of never done the big brother interview reeeereeeee! its in Dave Carnies book "Boob" i gonna order a copy haahaa
He is in the top 3 skaters of all time. Longevity, consistency, creativity, style, locations, tricks, sections, productivity, teams, and pants. Thank you for what you have brought and continue to bring to our culture Alex.
Dude has gone from hammers to a much smaller technical style. Always clean as hell, but that AO Soul was a BALLSY thing to do. That is faith in your abilities.
So smooth and solid. Spins both ways, grinds both ways. Doesn't jump on the wack Negative grinds bandwagon. That wall roll, gate Soul to Heel roll and that roll in to stair gap where he hovers like a paper jet. So sick and so clean. Just miss his more technical switch-ups from the RB days.
Blows my mind he doesn't have his own pro boot for these guys I mean I get danny beer is super good too but alex is literally a living legend them step up and honor your boy.
I'm a skateboarder but I did both for a few years around 1995-1998. Something's different with this dude (in a good way). It's almost like he's stomping all his tricks perfectly like he's on a skateboard but he's on skates. I bet he's good on a board too. Realllllyyyy good style. Cool video
I used to skate with Alex and Adam Johnson at Lenexa skate park around 20 years or so ago. Him and AJ are two of the nicest most humble people you will ever meet. He even signed a Roces banner from a skate competition that he went to and said keep it because he would go full pro soon. We even went to a Skatepark inside a warehouse in KC where he had a party/debut for his "A collective consciousness" DVD something I will definitely remember for life
He makes everything look so effortlessly clean and smooth, that you have to rewatch and REALLY look carefully, at just how difficult and big his tricks are.
Alex is nuts. Surely I can't be the only one who things his skating is better than ever. Sure, not as many hammers but his style and consistency is just crazy. Makes blading look so damn good.
Anyone who prefers the "technical" style over the hammers from the previous era is either lying or being pretentious. But that's just me being a noone, who never even reached a fraction of Broskows skills today and being happy he still skates. Dude built a legacy, no need to prove anything to anyone anymore.
Damn i remember when i seen broskow at the imyta. It was at ucla a long time ago. I dont remember seeing him skate. Never gota chance to meet him. Such a dope fucken rollerblader...😎👽🌞⚡️⚡️⚡️
