Wonder why people complain about how they pronounce, They are from Kerala and obviously cannot pronounce exactly like the Tamils do. It's how Tamils sing or speak Malayalam it wont be 100% accurate. Just enjoy the singing and move on instead of negativity. Cheers.

Most of the play back singers are having Malayalam as mother tounge. Jesudas, Chitra, Jenci, Jayachandran, Swarnalatha, Sujatha. They all pronounce it well, singer at this level has to take care of nuances. Tomorrow if he gets a chance it will benefit him. So for professionals perfection is must.

His voice is like auto-tuned~... oh my it's so beautiful.. it's unique. I've always had a mental picture of this song as a joke or something cause people use it to make fun of someone. But.. for the first time, I feel it. I can understand the emotion. Thanks guys.. it's great. Thanks a lot. Awesome team! Special thanks to the flute, piano, cellist and singer. Excellent effort A+. Remember Malalayam has more letters and sounds than Tamil so it's easier for Malalayam singers to sing Tamil than vice versa.

Dont get Mad. English has only 26 letters. English rules the science and the world. Malayalam is half Tamil & half Sanskrit. Malayaless can understand Tamil because language is build by tamil lanugage. Tamils cant understand Malayalam because tamil dont have sanskrit.

Truly beautiful. Moved. Every one of the artistes starting with Sekar Anna on the Cello, to the boards, to the rhythm, the flute, guitars, and lead vocal is synchronizing so well. I initially was not getting traction with the song, but then, I closed my eyes and followed the arrangement, and felt instantly that this was magical. It is not meant to mimic the original, and they have done a wonderful interpretation of the original. Hats off....please keep more coming!

Just be not too much judgmental to a great guy who hasn't sung many a tamil songs in his career... he is a malayali by origin, and what matters is that he has tried to be true to the song, as he had done to every song that he has sung from his childhood... The whole effort is good, the only point which disrupted the feel was the wrong lyrics... exactly at..." Azhudhaa manasu thaangaadhey... " was exactly the moment that disrupted the feel. But the flute took over.

It is very sad to read some of you people commenting about Raja sir and Kamal's voice ... come on guys just because Ilayaraja or Kamal sung this song it doesn't mean others can do better than that. In my humble opinion this Singer did a COMPLETE justice to this song in terms of the feel and vocal.. few words are mispronounced ... who cares when it goes through your heart and soul.
