When in reality it`s just relaxing under the consumption. Then comes the hangover, anxiety, shame, fear and so on. That is the addiction is fooling us into thinking that we are " cool, sexy, relaxed" when in reality we are getting fat, stupid, stressed, anxiety, fear, poor, unfit. Try reading " Allen Carr`s", " easy way to control alcohol" and " easy way to quit smokeing/vapeing". I think you will be surpriced that in fact it can be done. Cigarettes and alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago, when i lost my husband I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

It quickly turned into me just sitting at home by myself. Doing drugs and watching RU-vid. For basically an entire year before i finally ended it. I stopped smoking last week. Around 15 cigs a day for 4 years. I tapered off by putting a little bit of tobacco in a pipe, and taking a hit whever I'd get super irritable. Eventually I was down to taking 2 hits of tobacco a day, no cigs, and I stopped completely last week. It feels awesome. Just remember all the side effects like brain fog, irritability, cravings, are basically your entire system healing itself. Think of it like soreness after a great workout.

Stay strong. I think the sugar addiction is really tied into your gut health. Your stomach will literally communicate to your brain what to feed it. Once you quit it craves it. Takes time but your gut biome will improve. Besides eating clean it's probably good to supplement with probiotic or eat something like saurkraut and take a digestive enzyme a couple of times a day with your meals

I go extreme with everything I do, which is really a big fault... I started smoking at 19 (some sadness hit me) and I tried to quit so many times.. My first successful quit lasted 3.5 years (using a tablet) and I went back after an argument. I reached about 25 Cigs a day and I remember playing with my kids, hiding and smoking and I said that was it, I hated that it controlled me...I'm smoke-free for 4 years so far and I always keep reminding myself that it's very easy to fall back....

Dude lmao “they start to look like the inhale they’re taking off the cigarette” 😂❤❤ so freaking true and a big big reason why I quit smoking. I’ve gone to vaping which isn’t really better but now I’m not looking or smelling like the cigarette mom and I’m okay with that. I haven’t had a cigarette since aug 25th and it’s the longest I’ve gone without smoking my whole nicotine career.
@zenlandzipline
@zenlandzipline 9 месяцев назад
Awesome for you!! The biggest thing is…don’t ever take even 1 puff of a cigarette ever again. Dont ever think “well, I quit, and I could have just this 1 cigarette (or 1 drag off of a cigarette) and I won’t go back to smoking. And even if I did, I could quit again, because I did it before. So I think I will smoke just this 1 cigarette”. Dont go there. You’ll be back at the store buying a whole pack. Your brain never forgets addiction. Having just 1 cigarette can be all it takes to get you hooked again. Please, take my word for it. I’ve smoked/quit/smoked/quit so many times it’s embarrassing. You are free from the slavery of nicotine. Don’t get “brave” and screw around. Your life is much better now that you don’t smoke. Again, congratulations.

@@yogijaya2897 that shit is devastating! My daughter did this Mother’s Day thing when she was in kindergarten. They made us a craft then the teacher had a little questionnaire about us moms for each kid, she would ask they answered and the teacher would fill it in. She was so happy when she came home LOOK MAMA LOOK WHAT I MADE U!! So I hug her say thank u tell her I love it then I read it once she’s moved on to whatever else and one of the questions was what does ur mommy carry in her purse? My sweet baby said her wallet, her pills, and her cigarettes. (I was on some scripts at the time) girl… I had to go fucking hide to weep bc I was so ashamed of myself. I was like u legit had time to get ur shit together but u just couldn’t do it could u so I’m mentally flogging myself. She didn’t even know she’d said anything that would upset me and I sure as shit didn’t tell her that it did. I’m just damn proud of myself that I have gotten clean from drugs, cut out my toxic family, and finally I quit the cigs. I didn’t ever think I’d make it across this finish line for real. And I normally don’t say this part bc I’m so very not a braggadocio kinda person, but I did all that shit alone. No drs, no friends nobody. I dug myself out of the grave id been put in by myself. The goal that I have now things being as they are is when my daughter grows up and someone asks about me she will say oh my mom is the shit, she’s tough she’s smart she beat addiction to get her life together for me and now she’s finishing her masters. My mom had a rough start but she beat the statistics and I’m proud of her. That’s my dream now 💚

The dirty cigs were my poison of choice as well. That nicotine & caffeine kick first thing in the morning was heavenly. Smoked a pack a day for 13 years. Will be one full year come February since I last lit up. No vapes. No gum. Used the patch for the first several months. Quitting smoking is a total marathon though. Still have those bad weeks even after all this time. My patience is about half of what it used to be. Looking back on things, pretty sure that was always just a character flaw of mine, & cigs definitely rounded those sharp edges of mine, which is why I took to them so intensely. Almost like cruel joke how destructive they are to your health. Several friends (including myself) I feel were just genuinely better people as smokers lol.

The reason people get stuck in an addiction is because they want to quit but they're not influencing their subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is where the addiction lives. This is the reason people can't consciously decide themselves out of an addiction. The beautiful thing about the routine is that you don't have to force yourself to try to quit, live your life and do the routine and watch what happens to your mind. And it will happen, it is inevitable. Say strong and keep along the path of sacrifice and growth.

I have such a strange instinct towards the Higher Power. I think it's because I've always had such a strong dose of evil around me, it's difficult to connect with so much distance. I think about how desperate I have been for connection, even bonded with evil. It seems to me that those bonds that you make with the evil around you are the hardest additions to deal with. Really hurts to go the other direction. Takes serious strength.
