Theo James and Rose Williams talk about their famous ballroom scene, seen on ITV'S Sanditon. (ATTENTION: Sanditon has been renewed for Seasons 2 AND 3!)
Yea I agree with you. I still do miss these two. I am just going to copy what someone said who actually created a book for these two characters, Sidney and Charlotte's love story that it could be the best love story in the 21st century. It is indeed for me, still hoping for that happy ending though. SidlotteForever
i was sooo sad when I found out Theo James isn't coming back for season 2, whoever she ends up with at the end, the ballroom scene will ALWAYS be my favorite scene of the series
There is no one like these 2. You can actually feel their hearts beating in this dance. Season 2 is ending much to fast. It is my Sunday night must watch.
Lovely..the music the body language....both actors are very insude the charachters...by the way the Italian voice i quite similar to Theo Jamrs oroginal deep voice. I livevthis show helps to escape...
Замечательный фильм, давно я такого не видела, ждём 2 часть продолжения этой горячей чистой искренней любви, спасибо всем участникам- создателям этого фильма 👍👍👍
It was quite a downer that there's no Theo by Season 2. Theo, being so handsome, and a very good actor is hard to compete with by whoever replaces him on Season 2.
@@BlingDumbling OMG! where did you see that? Is that confirmed?? I really really need a season 2! The end of season 1 is soooo sad and not at all what Jane Austen would have liked. She writes happy endings!

@@user-pb7yj6fs5w o no, Charlotte and Sidney are ment for each other. Our lovely builder can marry Charlotte 's sister Allison. It stays in the family.
@@xoxo-qc6qd Yes, me too. There is something lovely about watching Charlotte and Alexander fall slowly in love. He does seem like a much more loving man than Sidney. He'll just have to work through his pain - much greater tragedies than Sidney ever experienced - and then find the strength to share more with Charlotte as he started doing. I do hope Char extricates herself from Ralph before reconnecting with Xander. I enjoyed the subplot of Alison & Frasier's love story. Leo & Augusta's narratives are interesting and, indeed, poignant. Georgiana's search for her mother, Arthur coming into his own. I really don't care about Tom or Edward. I'm afraid my initial instincts about both Sidney Parker and the actor proved to be accurate. We older women are never wrong about these things. it's a gift - what can I say? LOL!
I do really miss Sidney Parker and Charlotte Heywood. I don’t mind a recast. Having read all Austen’s novels, the central love story is between Sidney and Charlotte. I hope they make the right ending in the next season.
Nice interview, gorgeous Sidlotte dance. We simply múst have them back! To support the making of season 2 with HEA for C&S ▶️ Join on Twitter to be loud ➡️ #SaveSanditon #SanditonPBS #Sanditon ▶️Sign the petition on line ‼️ 🎩 ❤️ 👒
I loved season 1 with Theo James but season 2 the lead guy he just doesnt compare. His not as handsome or as sexy as Theo James but of course its a preference...
Reading body language those two have no real chem IRL. In fact I do not think he likes her very much as he leans away from her for most of the interview. There is no joking and laughing nor eye contact. This goes to show how good they are at their jobs!
It doesn't matter what you said. For us, what they produced in Season 1 was a Masterpiece and pure magic. I love both actors and I do believe they care and have respect for each other. ❤❤
She doesn't like him. She can't stand him. Rose Williams is very approachable. She has social media AND she interracts with her audience. Theo has/does neither.
@@xoxo-qc6qd I remember when he made one of his usual juvenile sex jokes/innuendoes during that game she, he & Crystal played, Rose just rolled her eyes at him. I don't think she disliked him, I just think she sees through him. She seems to have little tolerance for sexist BS which may have made him uncomfortable. As sweet as she seems to be Rose is definitely an alpha female. Course don't know how she feels after he bailed.
@@groundcontrol436385 Omg yeah! Theo is always so fake in interviews (just look at the divergent ones) And I bet Rose definitely see's that and thinks it's ridiculous.
@@groundcontrol436385 sadly I have to agree with you. I thought it was just me but I’ve seen other interviews with him and he has made some sexist faux pas with the leading ladies. He always seems uncomfortable and awkward in interviews. It’s cringey to watch sometimes. I agree with another comment you made, us older ladies see passed the good looks and sexy voice. Seems Rose does too.
Season two however is pitiful, without the tormented Sidney Parker. The new suitors are a pale picture compared to their intensely beguiling predecessor. Why are unreliable men so attractive ..
Disagree. Heybournes story was amazing and their chemistry was so much better imo (especially in season 3). I much preferred s2 and s3, they were less boring. Season 3 was the best season of them all.
Have you watched Sanditon?! His Chemistry with Rose is on another level. While Shailene and Theo had good chemistry, Rose and Theo quite literally sizzle on screen together.
Please Watch these two scenes before you compare the chemistry of the two couples. Trust me, you wont regret it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vp3xt9Z1zZ4.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LPWZ_etZ3QA.html
@@rachelsanditon1216 Damn Straight. Theo and Rose's chemistry is next level sizzle. Sometimes I felt like I was intruding on a real life private moment. Did you feel the same?
I’m curious , what do you mean by that? Until now after 3 years, these two are my favourite on screen. I’ve seen alot of great films/tv series of great actors and actresses but what I’ve experienced watching Sanditon 1 of Theo James and Rose Williams is extraordinary and it is still now honestly. I hope the actors can read my comments. I’ve never signed up to any social media before not until that devastating ending of S1. It means one thing to me, Sanditon 1 is magical and I’m still hoping that they’ll gift us again them onscreen willingly and happily with a happy ending, that would epic. ❤that’s all and Thank you😃
Finally saw the first two episodes and - what a disappointment! The writing is appalling...a shame as the filming and acting is fine, but the script just isn't Austen-esque. I'm glad now that I didn't start at the beginning because I would have bailed out & missed Rose's best bits. Afraid I hope Andrew Davies never gets another writing job...I think it's a shame that his name will forever be linked with Austen's. Hope it doesn't ruin anyone's career having been involved in this production.
What! I loved it and don't think it warrants this type of criticism. There were a few aspects of the story where I had to suspend disbelief; ie. Sidney and Charlotte traveling alone together without any consequences. But overall I found the story entertaining and binged it in one night! I suppose we all have our own opinions. But the show definitely isn't ruining anyones careers any time soon.
That is definitely very different from how I saw it. I don't claim to be an Austen aficionado, but from what I've read and seen of hers, I was loving it all in Sanditon! The screenplay, how they shot it, the acting, everything!
We all have an opinion and the right to agree or disagree. I thought it was lovely done and enjoyed it very much . The story pulled you into all there lives we got to know all of the characters so very well and care for them all . It was beautiful done I have great hopes for the second part of Sanditon. Where do we go from here ?
I'm late to this comment but you are correct. The good thing is that with season 2 it is much more respectful of Jane Austen's work, under a new main writer Justin Young. Andrew Davies is involved at producer level but hasn't written season 2.I am usually a fan of Davies' work but he really didn't get it right with season 1.
