This drum part where he plays the 16ths on the floor Tom, while he's singing about such deeply offending topics... All this withheld rage... It fits just so unbelievably perfect. And, yup, I just cried during the last build up pre-chorus. That's what he's doing.

Hey Theo. This one hit close to home. It's hard to walk the line between being unapologetically male and truly wanting honest equality for all. It's so hard to express that feeling without coming across as pandering to some agenda. This work of art you've gifted us is so incredibly humanistic that it's impossible to ignore. I'm sure it will anger some people because they'll have a knee jerk reaction to it and won't think twice; but to those who take a moment and be introspective, they'll realize- Good men, and masculinity itself, is/are not threatened by good women holding seats of power and influence.

This is seriously one of the most rewarding on all levels pieces of music I have heard in a long time. Your musical virtuosity and brilliant arrangement comes as no surprise, but this is one of the best lyrics I have heard in a long time, expressing a point of view that is very hard to explain without being defensive or coming off as a wimp. You do it in such an elegant way. And the drum part is f***ing awesome! Thank you so much for this great music!
