He is just the sweetest. I love his hair. My how time flies. He is growing, healthy and happy that's all that really counts. It doesn't matter when he start to crawl, walk or talk.
Every baby accomplishes milestones at their own pace. All of our grandkids crawled by 6-1/2 months, walked at 10-1/2 and talked up a storm very early, however, none of them were potty trained until 3-1/2 or 4! To each his or her own 😀
A friend of mines made me feel like my child was always behind it being my first child and her second I just assumed she was knew better. I just had to learn that yes every child learns at their own pace and no one should be made to feel bad about their child's progress and talking to your child's doctor also helps. My son will be 13 tomorrow 6/28 I still can't believe WE have kept a whole person alive! He's so funny, smart (when he chooses), and outgoing! You guys are doing great! Enjoy and cherish everything!
Just want to say hi and thanks for making vids about Theo! I found out I am having a boy and am also dealing with the same gender disappointment feelings you did and one tip I heard was to follow “influencers” online with boys to help get excited. ❤ your little boy is precious
Competition for meeting high standards becomes really ridiculous when applied to babies. Aside from particular patterns that might require some kind of intervention, they grow up their own way. My first child never crawled. Somehow that made no difference when she graduated from law school and passed the bar on her first try. He is absolutely perfect and adorable.
My good friend was our pediatrician and it was great because he made me relax about all the things I worried about talking, walking, teeth, no teeth, not growing, and finally, the last one was potty training. My daughter had no interest in potty training and he told "Nancy get a grip she isn't going to high school in pullups. My son was the second child and he did everything slowly because my daughter did everything for him so he didn't need to walk or talk early as she was in charge. Theo is doing great! Who cares where he is on the growth chart it is obvious he is growing and is healthy.
Did you have to buy any baby gates? Just curious which ones you have? I have a 9 month old now and just getting into needed some since we have a basement stairs and upstairs. He is crawling all over
