@DefaultMaster When i was little i was playing with hose and took a brake so i sat down. I wasp stung me but it didn't hurt cause my leg was dripping wet and it fell on the floor then flew away.

He meant the fibers, that are part of it. If you would gather enough spider silk to make something tailored like a bulletproof vest out of it, it propabbly would offer more protection. But on its own, how spiders produce it, the structure is to frail for humans.

I mean... One of the main reasons spiders come into ours homes is to mate. Yeah, our homes are basically spider breeding grounds. Don't kill them, but don't feel bad for yeeting them out a window. I'd rather do that than risk 1000s of spiders living in my house.
I always thought it was because I lived in a climate where half the year it's freezing and they couldn't survive anywhere else. I also have arachnophobia, so with this new knowledge...yeah, still will flip if I see one.
Fun fact: Only female mosquitoes drink blood from other animals, as they use the blood to develop eggs after mating and have specialized proboscises so they can pierce skin and keep blood flowing. Their saliva has an anti-coagulant to help keep blood from clotting until they’re done feeding, and this is usually what leaves you with a stinging or itching bite and is what can transmit diseases. Male mosquitoes actually are smaller than females and avoid humans since they don’t need blood (and lack the special tools to get it anyway). Both males and females primarily feed on nectar and water though, making them pollinators, since the female only seeks blood when she wants to reproduce. Also not all species of mosquitoes have the female seeking blood, and some species that do still require blood simply avoid humans. And they’re actually good pollinators. Two types of orchid, the blunt-leaved orchid and the monkeyface orchid (which is endangered), actually depend heavily on mosquitoes for pollination. I actually react pretty bad to mosquito bites, I get big welts, and in the summer they flock to me if I’m in shorts. But it’s like the vampire bat, you can’t think all bats are bad or weird for a few species, and they still hold a big role in the ecosystem even if we can’t see it because they don’t produce honey like bees.

I don't really care about the spiders and bees yeah,their alright.I grew up around a lot of wasp and I gotta admit I kinda got used to them,(I still hate them though)......but when I see a roach. It's a whole different story.
Hmm, years ago I heard my aunt scream or something, and when we looked into her room it turned out a spider egg had hatched, and I swear the wall was covered in thousands of spiders, and they had apparently fallen down onto her, so she got the “pleasure” of experiencing that.
I got stung in a head by a hornet before and had a HUGE bump on the back of my head. I was in the middle of cutting the grass then and I was cutting under my tree I felt that sharpest pain in my head. I never ran inside my house faster after cutting grass.😂 It really hurt though but my parents helped me. 👌🏾👍🏽
The silk of spiders IS abnormally strong. If we'd be able to use the same strength in human scales, such a spider web would be able to catch a airplane falling from the sky
When I was young I was told that bumble bees don’t stop chasing you until you run 200 miles. I never went outside near lakes or near the side of my house because sometimes it’s a really hot day outside and they can be anywhere. So i never went outside and I was actually afraid of these adorable harmless insects. 😵😵
Most spiders don't eat their kids. Spiders are actually pretty devoted mothers. A tarantula won't eat or leave her nest until her children are ready to leave. Some spider breeds use their last breath to web up their children and keep them safe. There are some spider mothers that let their children eat her when they hatch so they can be nourished are ready to take on the world. However female spiders will eat the male after mating if she's hungry. Males either have to run for it, or bring an offering before hand so she's been fed before mating.
Once a wasp landed on my arm at my grandmothers house a few summers ago and I freaked out then I was probably like Me then: AHHHHHHH EKKKKK Me now: AHHHH WUT DA FRICK *jumps into pool*
Me and my friends were part of the Cub Scouts, and we had to collect some sort of worm, so my friend moved a log, I was the furthest away from it and GUESS WHAT. A wasp was in the log and got mad and jus ignored the ones that actually moved the log and STUNG ME, I DID NOTHING, NOTHIIIIIIING. That was the first and only time I’ve been stung by something. I HATE WASPS SO MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH😡😡😡😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬
Also the problem with the phrase bees only sting in self defense is that we are gargantuan in size in comparison and EVERYTHING WE DO can be seen as a threat
I've only been stung by a bee once in my life. Since then both bees and wasps don't sting me sometimes I grab them or slap them and when they fly back they don't do anything...I AM THE KING BEE

I'm from Minnesota and ever since I moved to Texas I've seen red wasps and for some reason the wasps down here look like little people with a wasp face and wings and some if them fly vertical but the worst Minnesota has is centipedes and very rarely a goddamned millipede
I had a wasp nest on my shed roof and whenever I would get out of the car or have to go IN the shed I would only look at the wasp nest and silently freak out and then when I got out of the shed I ran for my life!
Along time ago I was in my bed about to sleep when I saw something move in between my bed and the wall. I got up and looked over and there was a HUGE spider crawling on my bed. It was as big as a baseball and I ran up stairs scared to death. I couldn't sleep in my bed for awhile. I slept on the floor...
Storytime for anyone who cares. One day me and my sister were doing yard work and a praying mantis was right by our doorbell. We were so scared to walk past it. It was about the size of my hand. Eventually I ran and hurriedly opened the front door so I could get a broom and use the handle to move it. It worked... but when the broom came into contact with it it FLEW! and we panicked so hard and ran. I got a picture first but I deleted it.
I'm not afraid of bees I just try to stay away from them one time I was out for a walk and a bee just flew right up to my face and that freaked me out my first instinct was to run the opposite direction
I forgot to comment this on the og video so ima do it here One time I was at a public pool with my mom and sister, when we started to leave a BIG bee 🐝 was flying around me and it wasn’t just a bumble bee where they don’t sting it was just a really big bee and it landed on the worst part of my body. My calf my calf’s are kinda big and there is ALOT of blood in them, and so I started running, the bee didn’t sting my but If it did I whould have been bleeding a lot. Anyways that’s my story 😀
4:43 actually the silk from the spider does not come from it’s anus but from the spinnerets appendages by the spiders abdomen that produce a liquid that once hits the air turns into a sticky solid substance forming into a tiny string the reason why these people hold down the spiders and pull up the silk is because the silk that comes from the spider has a golden tint to it that some people use in their clothes
