I think that was the point. He was proving to his dad that he had broke Theon to the point he can let him shave his face with a razor and no harm will come to him
Exactly that!! 💀 I always think that as well. His acting skills and Carice's (Melissandre) were some of the only things that kept me watching the show 😸😄
@@THEBIGTUGcertainly a far better choice than Arya. Even though I think Jon is the only one who should have killed tge Night King, I mean his whole charakter arc is about him vs the white walkers
His betrayal was understandable at the time he chose his blood over his captors.. he just didn't realize that his captors showed him more love than his dad would.. he instantly regretted his mistake Robb made mistakes also as all young people do
@@renerota809 facts and Robb was my favorite character or one of them and I can still admit theon loved him and was not the cause of his downfall rob was sadly but it’s true
Roose is the exact same as Ramsay just more stoic and introverted. He gets off to the same torture Ramsay does by lifting spirits and then crushing them and playing with peoples emotions. He literally tried to insinuate to Jaime that Cersei was dead before telling him she was fine. Ramsay indulges in the same exact behavior just louder about it.
When i watch this scene for the first time i almost cried you could see Theon trying to deal with it and muster up the courage to strike but ol Reek was too strong at this point took him to see Samsa suffering for him to snap out of it Ramsey is TVs worst villian ever.
This is such a power move. To instigate someone who has a literal blade at your neck knowing they can't do shit. Same thing shown in Far cry 5, where deputy pratt is soo brainwashed that he literally is unable to slit Jacobs throat
Even easier when your father who has a full garrison of a castle there too. Theon was broken, but had he not been, Roose still would have him captured and tortured for the rest of his days and Theon knew that.
No he would have killed him in the Red Wedding and Roose was less cruel he wouldn’t have been as bad as Ramsay and would leave him in a shape where he would be able to trade him to the Greyjoys.
I really can’t stand that Robb AND their mother were foolish enough to put themselves at risk in riverrun. So annoying also how disloyal so many northerners were. I feel like this story could have been even more epic. But the writers massacred key characters needlessly for shock value.
