All Glory to God! I ordered you book dear Fr. Spyridon it’s on it’s way will probably receive it today, may God illuminate our minds and soul. May God continue to help and strengthen you Fr. Spyridon with the good work He has begun in you for the salvation of our souls. ☦️💕
I just finished UFO Deception Fr Spyridon and I really enjoyed the read. I think its a really good book for people who constantly are drawn or 'too curious' about aliens. It seems to me that people looking for a spiritual experience, are the ones who are bound to get attacked as Fr Seraphim Rose mentions this topic in Gods Revelation to the Human heart, in the 1980s when there was a large influence of psychedelic's going around.
I just wanted to thank you Father Spyridon. Your videos have been immensely helpful and encouraging on my way back to God. The videos about The Jesus Prayer and the Sunday of the Prodigal Son were especially helpful in my case. If you ever wondered if your message is helping someone, it is. God bless you for your good work.
" do not call anyone your father on earth ,for one is your father , the heavenly one " matt23:9 Do you want to truly worship God ? ..why do you not listen to his son?
@@keiththegoodson9857 why did Saint Paul tell the corinthians he is their spiritual father? "For even if you had ten thousand others to teach you about Christ, you have only one spiritual father. For I became your father in Christ Jesus"
@@frankjamesiii5362 applying " father" as a formalistic or religious title was forbidden by Jesus (matt23:9) Because of Paul's bringing the good news to certain Christians and nourishing them spiritually he was like a father to them ,but in no scripture is " father" applied to him as a religious title...Paul likened himself to both a" father " and a " mother" in his relation to the Thessalonian Christians..( 1thess2:7,11) Whereas reference at Luke 16:24,30 is made to " father Abraham " , this basically in the sense of fleshy ancestry .
Amen! Fr. Spyridon, thank you once again for a clear and truly Patristic message! Your videos have been an important part of my journey to Holy Orthodoxy. Two days ago, I, a former Lutheran pastor, was received into the Church. What a blessing! Thanks be to God, and to you as well! Greetings from the ice cold Finland, and blessings in Christ!
@@nuzzi6620 Thanks! Well, long story short, it all started years ago at the university (of all places!), where my teacher suggested I write my thesis on the Scriptural Theology of the Greek Church Fathers. After a few years of work at the feet of Sts. Cyril of Jerusalem, Basil, and Chrysostom, I noticed I just couldn't think like a protestant anymore. The point is: the texts of the Fathers contain the truth!
@@harrihuovinen9706 Amen! Was Roman Catholicism ever an option for you? Seeing as the Lutheran church sees itself (at least historically) as the reformed continuation of the RCC? Or did Finland’s history with Orthodoxy (mostly via your big neighbour to the east) affect your perspective?
@@nuzzi6620 I will say that exploring Patristic Theology has made me appreciate the RCC more than I used to. However, for me, personally, Rome, too, always felt kind of "new". I had to go further back to the sources...

Thank you kind sir for your service in God's army. You have helped me tremendously. The Jesus prayer , is like fiery arrows just like you say it is. I am tremendously thankful for my clean thought life. Coming back again... Well , my arrows in my quiver. And Our Lord Jesus Christ my tower which I run into... Thank you again. If you need anything , any kind of service , I'm at your call.
@@TheBonsaiManiac I'm going through some suffering right now. But that tells me that my father had not abandoned me. I just came to that conclusion. If I was still reveling in this lustful deprived mind. I would be abandoned. I thank our Lord Jesus Christ for the cross what a poignant example of humiliation and suffering that he has done for us. I got that from the message this morning. I am not abandoned because I know our father's rod and staff , they comfort me.
May God strengthen you and grant you patience in your struggles brother. Keep in mind that our struggles are in fact our cross that will lead us to the resurrection. As a hymn of the Orthodox Church tells us, "yesterday I have been set on the cross with You Christ, today I am resurrected alongside You", in the original Greek text; "χθες συνεθαπτομην Σοι Χριστέ, συνεγείρομαι σήμερον αναστάντι Σοι". May God bless you.
JESUS help me gain intamacy with you and with YOUR chuch,Our ORTHODOX path and family. I thank GOD hes giving me desire to repent and your videos along with my Coptic family have and still are changing me. THANK YOU GOD! And GOD bless FATHER SPRYDON!
Father, I have recently moved to the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad from the OCA. My new spiritual father is now taking my confession weekly and seems to truly understand what I'm struggling through. He also never stopped serving the liturgy during the plandemic and never enforced any lunacy policies. The Church Fathers warned us that Orthodox Christians would have to go many miles to find a good priest and spiritual father as we drew closer to the end times, and now I think I am experiencing this in real time. I have lost trust in the American system and any hope of having a comfortable life, but I have now found true hope in Jesus Christ our God.
I envy you such a spiritual father. My despair was palpable because so many churches turned to the rules of man and not of Christ. We became lost sheep.
@@HannahHarbourDeep "They will legally introduce carnivals [mask-wearing] in the Church with a law. Whoever does not participate in these carnivals will be persecuted! You will witness many shameful and foolish things! You will travel miles to find a good priest and spiritual father." Elder Basil of Kafsokalivia. Do not fall into despair as I have done in the past numerous times. Even now I wonder why I even try to bother participate in modern society for worthless paper money to get material goods which makes me shudder. I have to remember always that there is no reason to despair, for we have the Hope of the world through Jesus Christ our God! I am increasingly seeking to follow the law of God rather than the laws of corrupt men no matter how much more difficult life will become. I will pray that you are guided by the Holy Spirit to find a good spiritual father to confess and confide in. Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
@@revelation2-9 I think wearings masks in a Church is a problem and not something to be shrugged off as a mere health measure, but I don't think it's bad enough to be called a carnival. Perhaps it's be a portent for more carnivalesque mandates in the future. Definitely not a good precedent that the state can mandate us to wear *veils* on our face during our rituals considering we already use veils for different reasons and other religious practices use veils purposefully. Our intention won't matter much when it comes to the effect they will have as veils. In a way the state is interfering with the ritual practice. What's sad is some parishes put these mandates up not because of the state but by their own Volition. Lord have mercy on us all.
We moved to ROCOR from GOA for the same reasons. Monthly confession is much better than only a few times a year. The soul needs frequent cleansing! May God bless you! ☦
I've never been to an orthodox church as the nearest one is nearly 70 miles away and my journey only started 11 months ago, but everything this guy says is like eating a double meat sandwich of wisdom!
It’s impossible to live an Orthodox life without reading the Lives of Saints. This is what our Saints have said. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner. Thank you, Father Spyridon.
Thank you Father for giving us the best in spiritual food, to help us grow closer and stronger in our faith walk to the Lord, Father Son & Holy Spirit.
In addition to my previous comment, Father do you think you could make a video regarding the current situation with Ukraine? Do we as Orthodox Christians continue to live in the world or do we make spiritual and physical preparations in anticipation of the events to come?
There is no sin without forgive ness, but to sin against the holy spirit will never be forgiven, for you go against, and resist him and his reproof till the end, then the consequences is there is no place for you with him, for he is holy spirit. In another meaning, if you dfile the gift of baptism you received , then you have no place with him for he is rightious God and holy. Logically, the milk is white, if something impure happen to fall into it, will it be drinkable. Of course not. Thus what will happen with someone petsists to go on his way of resistance.
This is why He handed us His holy mother at the foot of the cross to be our mother as well. We Roman Catholics hold dearly the many treasures and graces that have been bestowed on the Virgin Mary. We hold tight the holy rosary given as a spiritual weapon to use for more graces to combat the forces of evil. The life of Jesus is in each mystery and we meditate on them each day we pray the holy rosary. The adversary flees when we are protected and covered under her mantle of protection.
Thank you very much Father Spyridon for all your videos guiding us towards the light of true spirituality through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On a different note would you be so kind as to make an introductory video on your Book "The UFO Deception", I know the matter is outside the line of these videos which I love but perhaps you could do it from a different perspective. God bless you 😇
Father Spyridon I was baptised in a C.E Church but have just recently come back to the teachings and being a man of nearly sixty years now with no confession being made I am in Great need of this ! But I am currently somewhat trapped in a Roman Catholic denomination and my heart does not feel to find communion and confession there ! Is any Chruch better than no church ! Can you please advise me on this, it troubles me greatly and I am afraid to die before attaining this oppurtunity to rerveal my worldy sin to God ! I hope you might read my message and can give me your thoughts on this my question !
I attended Liturgy at an Orthodox Church last Sunday for first time, very first time attending any Church infact, and must say I was abit lost. Upon entering I had no clue where to go, which door to go through etc, I was there for over 3 hours (are they always this long?) and was surprised that in over 3 whole hours not a single person approached me or said anything to me at all. I felt I was being stared at and did not belong, I am naturally introverted and was obviously anxious/intimidated with the aspect of attending service for first time. And can't say I am eager to return, at least there specifically. For record I am 22 and the only believer in my family.
Which church did you go to? Was it a Russian church or a more ethnic one? Russian Orthodox are somewhat notorious for longer services. Divine Liturgy is usually between 1.5 to 2 hours long; Matins is a morning service performed right before Liturgy on Sundays, which can add another 30-60 minutes, if that’s when you show up. And there are many parishes with significant convert populations that are always super friendly to inquirers. I can speak for North America, at least. And like suggested above, try to reach out to the priest before coming to church! And make sure it’s an English-speaking parish if at all possible!
And don’t be discouraged if the first parish you visit isn’t all too great; it’s always recommended to check out all the parishes in your vicinity before settling into one or deciding to quit investigating Orthodoxy. Some parishes are more ethnic clubs than churches, other parishes are a little more “worldly” than they ought to be, but still other parishes (most of them) are fantastic and full of God-fearing, regular folks like ourselves. The Church is a hospital, so don’t ever be surprised or disappointed to find sick people wandering its rooms and hallways!
@@nuzzi6620 Appreciate the response. I live in the UK so the scene may be different here idk, but it was a Greek Orthodox Church. And I also did contact the priest, though only via email, before attending to ask when I would be welcome to come, what time is liturgy etc, and that I am seeking to learn more of the Orthodox faith. I definitely will not be quitting investigating lol. I am still on the fence between RC and EO though. The more debates I listen to and the more I read, the more I cannot make a decision... Was 3 years ago I embraced to truth of Christianity, and in all this time I have been outside of the Church, basically withering away, right where Satan wants me (losing the spiritual battle). I am at a point where I am burning with desire for a real Christian life and relationship with God, which of course is impossible outside of the Church.
We usually wait until coffee hour to greet new people as during Liturgy we are focused on worshiping God. 😊 If people start conversing usually the Priest or Bishop will ask people to be quiet. I concentrate on the service and singing, myself, and don't notice new people, or many others. If you need help make sure to be early before services and ask someone. May God bless you. ☦
Bible references He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit…" Luke 3:16: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit…" Luke 3:22: "…and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove." Luke 11:13: "…how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
It would be interesting to know by what church you were ordained because some of what you teach is not reflected in mainstream orthodox teachings. To read a few books and regurgitate them in your own fashion does not make you a priest. Challenge video inside your church and congregation.Doubt that you have either.
It's called Teaching the TRUTH in Love and Grace!! Most ppl only throw The Law at you, Vain Religion and traditions of men!! Kinda like you sound. God desires MERCY!!!!!
I've been trying to search for other peoples accounts and experiences of gnosis/theopanies. I had such an experience myself and I've been looking for others to elaborate this with and try to discuss it as well. Anything at all is what I'm looking for.
Jesus had to be submerged into the waters to sanctify the waters for us to be baptized and be cleansed of original sin. It's the purity of Jesus that makes the waters pure enough for us to be cleansed and receive the graces attached to it.
My man my man, I love a lotta what you say I really appreciate your your wisdom and but you’re wrong on the number of things in primarily that the doctor and the the Trinity there is no trinity nowhere in the Bible will you find the word Trinity or the definition of the word Trinity God is not a person let alone three of them God is a spirit and it’s no wonder that the Muslims and the Jews think Christians are pagan because they believe that That we believe in and three gods which is what the trinity espouse is that there are three persons which is the only way you can describe it is threes ever three separate person which to me is three god said it’s not biblical cell Bible says that God was manifest in the flash she said if you see me you see the father Jesus is the father son and the Holy Ghost all in one that’s right she said I’ll send the comforter in my name and temperature be in you and then exhausted I should be at you question you need to ask yourself whose spirit was in Jesus Christ was it the separate spirit from the father because member there’s only God is a a spirit John 424 God is a spirit not three spirits so the spirit that was in Jesus Christ is the father that’s it your dick
There is a Trinity it’s not in the Bible the definition of the tranities are three separate distinct persons making one God where is that in the Bible now three persons God is not a person God is a spirit God was manifest in the flash she said if you see me as seen the father he said the words I speak and things that I do I do not on myself with the father do it thin me he do it the work he speak with the words Jesus was the word made flash that’s all very simple it’s beautiful beautiful father didn’t turn to the sun in time pass and I want you to die for the people no God came himself and the a man now that’s real I know it’s not that Jesus To
