for 33:41 (evolving cards) the best thing i believe would be "sidegrades" not upgrades. So that if you bred something that can be "sidegraded" to another card, it will be sold but people who wants the original card can still choose to let it remain the same. And no one will feel forced to upgrade everything.

Hasn't finished the video yet (it's going really nicely!) but I want to add few things here. I also use pretty much the same "energy score" (that's how I call it) when team building except I give nimo-like cards a 0.5 energy score. I will soon have a video about team building where I talk about this exact same thing (being edited right now) Also I believe "META" stands for "Most Efficient Tactics Available" but I found you guys definition really cool haha So nice to think one topic can have 3 different readings and they all make a lot of sense. Most Efficient Tactic Available is also sometimes given as the meaning -- same idea in either case, it gets at the idea of winning "the most" that you can for "the lowest" cost. Of course that means you need metrics for how to measure/value your wins and how to value the costs.
meta means 'about' in greek. kind of equivalent of latin 'post' or 'ad' in gaming usually refers to exploiting the game mechanics, not the same as cheating. You see, the game balance depends on the developers, so as long as they are fine with it, players using smart thinking to break rules is often not cheating, it's allowed by the game rules. This can be fastest, most efficient, cheap ways to do things. One game I played had crafting elements and animal husbandry, sheeps were the highest tech. It was a really slow process to build a containment area for them and letting them lose had many downsides, as the game had bad communication and limited time for gamers. My exploit was digging holes to contain sheep, as they counted as a blocking element aka wall. It was weird idea, but based on the game elements it was allowed and working, I made it really popular as it was a free and fast way to do it. Took a year for the game to find a way that is cheap enough and faster to do the same with intended wall elements.

META in gaming means Most Effective Tactics Available. Meta data is for the websites, you're right. But META in the gaming context is the most proven effective way to win or have an adcantage.

Hi I've been theory crafting a lot lately on what plant to get, I run a plant beast(goda,dual blade, hare,risky beast)bird(dark swoop, eggshell, blackmail, post fight) and a plant with hotbutt,serious,pumpkin,rosebud...I know i lack energy gain/steal with my current setup, what plant do you suggest? I've been thinking about doing a carrot, leafbug, bidens,serious plant, will this suppliment the team?
Can you please talk about the new cards in the new update ? Is it going to be necessary to buy new axiea because of it or we are cool with the old ones ?

I can take some guesses on "meta " builds - 1) terminator (i mean its got its own name)+ shrimp(A w/backdoor) = shriminator or tri spike rep instead. 2)Rimp beast (kinda phasing out), little owl bird( w/ egg +blackmail), basic tank w/ all plant parts (serious +pumpkin). 3)aap - pure aquas 1 w/ nimo, 1 w/ koi. 4) poison build- yam tank, 2 w/ back door (sneaky + bird horn thing) w/ grass snake and garish worm. Just think of all the teams you encounter constantly
