He's a great songwriter, I know people hear their name and think Bad Girlfriend or Lowlife but their entire body of work is amazing, this is an amazing song and a great video🤘🤘🤘

@@royjameson2097 they’ve got some hidden gems forsure. It’s a shame they didn’t build off this record & do more similar tracks like these but went an entirely different route with there music that I’m not the biggest fan of.

their new album is coming out in march of 2023 it's gonna be heavy

its not bad though,i really like their new songs because their lyrics are kinda deep.

They had to go pop, that's where the money is. That awful "rx" song gave them a shot in the arm in terms of exposure.

Yeah the medicate album wasn't very good. Too pop sounding. Rock music isn't dead, and would be more popular if more people played it instead of going pop.

Their two newest albums are definitely ass compared to everything else they’ve done, but a couple things to still note are these: 1. The lyrics are still (mostly) well written, particularly Straight Jacket(9/10), Rx(10/10), Echoes (8/10), Loner (7/10), Glass Jaw(7/10), and Po Mouth (7/10.) 2. The instrumentals are so god damn generic pop that you think you’re listening to P!ATD off of wish.com. 3. I’m pretty sure they switched to pop because Tyler DESTROYED his voice. Just listen to the difference between how he sang in 05 live on here for a concert compared to his more proper singing now. He used to be extremely rough and raw. Time and consistency does that to your voice.

There is no hate man, Three days grace WAS a great band from Ontario(now they suck shit because nobody can replace Adam) with the title song "drown" and Theory of a deadman is a great Canadian band from BC that has a song title "drown" Love for Canada!!!

Thoughts on them seven years later? I absolutely adore the stuff off of the Say Nothing album. Rx (Medicate) I think was their biggest turning point to finding their sound, cuz afterward they had an entire album that struck gold and kept the same style.

I found this on loudwire. The video finds the band in an old Western setting, playing inside a darkened house while outside an old time preacher rallies the local townsfolk to perform a baptism in an area lake. A young woman is eventually chosen to take part in the ceremony as everyone cheers her on, but there’s something a little more sinister afoot. But I believe you're right with the cult thing.

My final point will just be to point out that you initially stated that god would never condone killing unless someone was evil and deserved destruction, which you and I both refuted with bible passages. If the bible is the true word of god, then your initial statement was not completely true. As far as this song goes, you're probably right that it is more of a lottery being used by a small Christian sect lead by the one man - who, by the way, holds a bible in the video. I think it's an intriguing story told in the video and a really good song. Now, that's all I have to say.
