Maybe my favorite theory Thursday yet👍🏻 strung up a pocket with paracord the other day and while it looks cool, I don't really see a purpose in using it. I compared that head I strung up to an identical head/stringing but instead of paracord I used LaxRoom sidewall, and I really could feel a difference in the weight.

I dont get why Greg doesn't use the SSI. I needed the stacked si, couldn't string a good pocket until I saw your tutorial.

Hey Chris, I have been stringing for years and I like to use crosselace for sidewalls are there any pros or cons to pocket consistency with crosselace? I'm a big fan you and greg at ECD have helped evolve my stringing, thanks!

Good stuff! I've always wondered why you've been using SK strings on most pockets posted. One thing I've done lately is gone back to a regular 9D without triangle top to keep things simple and while I know it's negligible, reduce weight and less string. Think the triangle top pulling up is worth the extra string and negligible weight savings?

Would using back to back stacked si's work? And could you do a 3 diamond stacked si?

I've never done it myself, but I've seen someone use 3 in a row and make a really nice pocket

A 3 diamond stacked will make A VERY defined picket it won’t shift and the pocket will be very deep

Truth be told, the best players in the world don't pay any attention to this type of minutia.
