So from the research I've done your absolutely correct. Using fish paste and catching only the small fish is the way to go. Also I feel like night fishing gives you the best chance to snag sacks. I was able to catch 11 smalls and 2 bigs during 1 night shift. It was about 50 attempts. FYI I'm using the bamboo rod to fish.
@@kohee-e Before a fish bites, you see it's silhouette. After fishing for so long I got used to what the different sizes looked like. If it wasn't the size I was wanting, I would pull the float back out before it hooked the fish and recast. That would save the bait from being used, as well.
