OMG! You have the first edition deck (Blue Monarchs), which are a lot rarer. Also, the new Blue monarchs have thin borders, if you want Blue Monarchs with thin borders.
the black gold monarchs, are they good for magic and cardistry? And do u know the utopia black/white gold cards? Are they better for cardistry and magic? or just simple which are better Utopia black/white gold or black gold monarchs? (sry for the bad English if its bad)
Thanks for the reply. However, right now, i'm debating if i should even go ahead and buy some of the more expensive decks. In my area, almost all of the cards cost 10 extra $s(for shipping) and the monarchs and artifices cost around 15 $, but the bikes are normally priced(at 3$). I'm thinking I might save a few bucks and go through less decks by getting a few bikes instead. Maybe once i get good at cardistry I might look into buying decks like the mints, virts, jaqks etc. What do you think of it? It's quite hard to resist the temptation to spend a few extra $$ to start off with artifices or mints or sumthin, but at the same time I can't bring myself to spend 20+ dollars on a deck of cards with which i can't even do anything good yet.
It's totally your call, but I agree that it would be a good idea to get some baseline skills and see if you really do like card magic or playing cards in general before spending more than you're comfortable with now.
One last question. Which cards do you think last the longest and handle well?Possibly cards with a thick stock.Would be great if you could name 4+ options so that i can see which is the cheapest here.
