Oh! This was fascinating subject matter about some amazing thought/spiritual representatives. These conversations, subjects and people allow me to scratch that eternal itch on the nature of Being/Consciousness. Thank you Angus and Suma for bringing this forward. Loved it!
Thank you Suma, thank you, Angus. Fun conversation to drop in on. Sri Aurobindo's approach to intuition is vast and can be found detailed in the chapter of "The Life Divine" titled "The Ascent towards Supermind".
Thanks Mateo (?). Yes, the chapters Triple Transformation and The Ascent...... are very interesting. A talk just about these chapters could be very fruitful.
@@TheExceptionalState Hi, I’ll be talking with Angus, Marco Masi and at least one more person on December 2 on these topics .Do you have any specific questions? I’m planning to go through those chapters and highlight some points from them. Any specific questions would be helpful.
Hi, I am Angus. I don't have specific questions at this stage. I am just pleased that Suma has arranged this talk in the spirit of East meeting West in dialogue and a spirit of interest for the spiritual truths that live in both traditions@@leatui7
For Steiner and for us the process of the evolution of consciousness is tied to the Christ as descended "supermind" into the flesh. An event that all spiritual traditions pointed to. The resurrection then leading to a reascension . The levels of consciousness as discovery of the "true" I is also an incarnation of that personal I into the bodies all the way down into the physical body. So we are ascending in evolution and are in process of deepening involution and embodying beings. As such we are increasingly involved in a reciprocal relationship of evolution between humanity and these other higher intelligences/beings Angus speaks of. Thank you for this, folks. Lovely.
Well, this will be interesting. Sri Aurobindo did not think that Christ represented the Supermind descended into flesh .As far as I can see, there’s nothing in Steiner work that is correlated with the Supermind, Of course, I personally have no way of knowing this myself - but in any case, it looks like our December 2 conversation with Angus and others will be quite interesting!
It certainly will be interesting :) I agree with your comment about Christ, however, if we view Supermind in terms of an evolution of consciousness then I think there may be plenty of scope for finding parallels. I look forward to perhaps finding out more about Aurobindo's thoughts concerning Christ as I am keenly aware of only having a limited knowledge of Aurobindo's writings. Steiner's observations about Krishna and Vishvakarman in the context of Vedic thought could however lead to a possible greater synthesis @@leatui7
