This guy was like watching a real marvel charecter when i was a kid. And he was lighter than most competitors in strongman. Then went to mma. A total super unit
I prefer the 80s. they were willing to experiment with the events a lot more back then. and the rivalry between Jon Pall, Kaz, and Geoff was great drama, those guys really pushed each other
As a Polish fellow of Mariusz Pudzianowski, I can tell You he’s still popular in Poland and well recognised by younger generation, he’s no only a great but also a good man as he proofs it so often.
He was always my favorite because a lot of the other guys were really quite fat and didnt look too strong. This guy was just pure muscle and looked as strong as he was.
@@tylermartin7245 it happens, just look at the old school ufc fights before they had weight classes. The big guys are slow and wear out exceptionally quick. Not saying smaller guy will win every time or even half, but the right hands definitely can.
So funny, I have watched this video every time it gets thrown in my feed. I am not a sports enthusiast but there is something impressive about seeing a human pull an anchor to chain to end THEN the weight block. Props
Watching him compete when I was little was crazy. He seemed to be the smallest guy out there and just crushed them dudes. I always remembered him having a weird 4-pack I never seen. Lol
Let's face it. At 6'2" tall he was one of the smallest competitors yet always the strongest and fastest in the events he was in. He also was "ripped" compared to who he was up against. Very impressive indeed.
I'm 6'2 from a family of men who are 6'4-6'8 on average. They're all fat though and I maintain so from experience I can tell you that height and weight aren't everything. I can run laps around most of them with just about any given task.
Yeah look at others, thy all slow. But eastern european man is build diffrend, was funny to see other was slowly moving at start but look the grazy polish guy just running👍 i am from estonia and i am proud of all eastern europeans from poland to russia 💪👍

My former Contract Administrator, a retired marine used to do strong man competitions. He was diagnosed with cancer and his life was "dated". His world was turned upside down. His health took a miraculous turn for the better and he started doing age group competitions again. Watching this makes me respect him that much more!
He was absolutely the best to ever do it. We might never see anyone as good as him ever again. He was the only one with any fast twitch to his game. All the other guys look like shambling zombies and Marius looks like he runs track.
@@GregAlcorn Bill Kazmaier was terribly Wronged by the promoters of the World's Strongest Man contest because after he won 3 times he was Barred from Competition at arguably his All-Time Peak. Bill went back to Powerlifting and injured himself and was Never able to regain his WSM Title. Bill and Mariuz are my 2 All-Time Favorite champions.
@@m_k_ron Bill definitely could've been the All-Time Greatest World's Strongest Man if he didn't get Screwed Over by the guys running the Contest. He definitely had Atleast 2 if not 3 more titles in him.
This man was running circles around the strong men of his time he left at the top of his game. You got people like Eddie Hall and HafThor Bjornsson who would compete with this man and they couldn't touch him.
@@stealthslayer13 yes but im talking as an all rounder, this man could do it all. There is powerlifting, and there is strongmen comps. Two very different circuits. And yes Eddie Hall in the straight 1 and 2 rep maxs takes the cake same with Thor. But watch the brutal strength meets endurance of the strongmen competitions.
Eddie Hall and Hafthor never even compete against Mariusz lol you talking out of your arse bro. Mariusz last WSM was 2009 and Eddie didn't even qualify until 2012, Hafthor until 2011...

These athletes have to take steroids and it's a SACRIFICE of literally take years off their lifespan and other complications. To say what you said is very degrading of these people and chances are, you don't even have an ounce of their work ethic.
