Canelo is too experienced and crafty to get stopped by Munguia but neither is he able to pull the trigger like he once did. I have my money on Canelo by decision
No one can ever say Paulie is punchy. He is a fast brain boxing professor. Why doesn't this channel have a million subscribers?! I love these in-depth boxing breakdowns.
I agree a lot of people don't like Paulie but most of the time he speaks the truth. It's just that groupies can't handle the truth and call him a hater.
Canelo's next fight will likely be against Edgar Berlanga, who is even less deserving than Munguia. Neither of these fights are PPV worthy IMO. The sanctioning bodies need to strip Canelo of their titles since he refuses to fight top opposition. Canelo can continue to follow the path of least resistance, but without the titles.
Canelo is following the path of least resistance but for some reason has all the belts at 168 and is undisputed. Are you listening the words coming out of your mouth? How are you an undisputed champion but your fighting nobody 😂
@@eugeneabreut960you guys way overrate Benavidez. There’s really no reason to pick him over Mungia. He’s literally accomplished nothing. And couldn’t even knock out Plant when Canelo did.
You're correct, Paulie didn't have power, but he had skills, and had a heart like a lion.. never quit and took plenty of punishment and kept going. Imagine someone like you with no pro fight experience talking about a former world champion 😂
@@barrybarnes96 You’re the Keyboard warrior judging someone you don’t know over an opinion. Ive been deployed overseas, WTF have you done? I bet not a muthafucking thing.
@@barrybarnes96 You’re the keyboard warrior, you’re getting upset over my opinion. I was in Iraq, do you really think I would be afraid of a pillow fisted gate keeper in Paulie? 😂
Remember the WBC changed it's doping rules to allow Canelo to use Clenbuterol. Munguia is too slow and he throws a lot of punches. This will favor Canelo's counter punching ability and possibly allow him to ko Munguia with a overhand right.
@@777tillinfinity Just Google it. WADA and the WBC changed the allowed levels of Clenbuterol for Mexican fighters that got caught with it in their system. But they didn't change it until after Canelo tested positive.
I don't know who told you that Canelo gains a lot of weight overnight. Canelo doesn't gain a ton of weight after his weigh-ins, maybe like 10 pounds at the most. He's a smaller super middleweight fighter.
Hey Paulie you are 1000% correct on this point..... Canaryelo has been been dirty for a minute now not to mention the no hydration clause in his contracts yet he is praised.... Salvador Sanchez is turning in his grave right now.... smfh..... quack QUACK 🦆🦆
Hey Yo Paulie! Man I always enjoy your take on the fights and the educated breakdown. I am a former fighter(kickboxer) and I was a student of boxing. I remember watching your fight with Coto and I was like man this guy(you) were not giving an inch. I remember seeing your cheek and that impressed me the most. I mean come on I’ve seen guys quit when they start meeting a strong willed fighter but you where absolutely down with going out on your shield. It was a look at a real throw back type of fighter. These breakdowns and pickems come from a real deal no bullshit fighter. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep following you and the Probox TV channel!
He has never failed a test, all you people have is accusations. It’s not surprising he gets injured considering his age and intense training like non other and last time he had a jaw infection
I like Munguia, good humble person and hard worker, wish he could win, but In my Opinion ... Canelo by TKO in the 7th rd. Too much Skill, Experience and Power for Munguia 🥊
Paulie, Remember the Carvel on 18th? My uncle lived upstairs. I remember when I was a kid I went to the park near the Carvel. And these Italian kids told me they were gonna throw me off the big toy. And another Italian kid, not with them kinda helped me out of that sticky situation. I was by myself too. I know that's out of left feild but just wanted to share that story
Even worse when they asked her if she had any sexual relations with broner, she said “I’m having fun” Ruined him for life and using his sexual frustration on canelo.
Kind of depends on which Canelo shows up. If the one shows up that fought the Smith Brothers and BJS and we hear that power bangjng shots to Mungia's head and body then it'll be a tough nights work for Mungia. However if we dont see or hear any power behind Csnelo's punches then this might be a Changing of the Guard. Exciting to see the outcone
Not a Canelo fan but I think his detractors are overly critical of him. He’s taking on a solid undefeated young Mexican who is taller than him and people still complaining. He’s defeated numerous young undefeated champions either by TKO or legitimate decision (eg. Jacobs, Callum Smith, Saunders, Plant) and taken all the belts. If he convincingly beats Munguia tonight he’ll only solidify his legacy but YES, if he doesn’t fight Benavides this year he is clearly ducking. But if Canelo convincingly beats Munguia I honestly do think he’ll fight Benavides if the latter wins in June. We’ll see.
The fact that he’s saying that Canelo doesn’t have the power to KO Munguía is clear that he’s not a fan of Canelo and sometimes a hater…… everything else he said is open for debate vivir to say Canelo doesn’t have the power to KO Munguía plzzz. A powerful punch to the liver and anyone will get KO!!
Canelo is a great fighter and has had a Hall of Fame career but the way he acts and the favoritism he gets by judges turns me away. If Canelo wasnt so popular and didnt have the judges in his pocket he would of lost the first GGG fight. GGG was robbed in the first fight. The 2nd fight with GGG and the the fight with Lara could of gone either way in my opinion, but the favorable judges gave both to Canelo. I thought Canelo won the 2nd GGG and lost to Lara. Canelo was dominated by Mayweather yet one judge had it a draw. Canelo was also dominated by Bivol and had no plan B in the 2nd half of the fight. He even looked like an amateur at times with how bad he was swinging and how confused he was. Yet all 3 judges scored it 115-113 I believe when Canelo really should of only won a round or two. The judges being favorable to Canelo isnt really his fault I guess but Canelo arrogant attitude and his dismissal of top dangerous contenders over the years like Andrade and Benavides rub me the wrong way. Canelo holding the Super Middleweight championship hostage and it isn't fair to the deserving contenders. Munguia hasnt done anything to deserve a shot at the Undisputed 168lb title. Hes been protected the past 4-5 years and carefully managed to keep him undefeated. Still should be a good fight though. Edit...also forgot, Canelo is a drug cheat. A fighter who is as rich as Canelo and with the people around him, dosnt fail a drug test unless he actually cheated, which he did.
As someone who customarily agrees with Paulie and his idealistic commentary regarding what boxing should be. I find it interesting, that he seldom ascribes the manipulations by Canelo, in not so dissimilar manipulations by Floyd Mayweather. Which as a fan of boxing, I see no less insulting for its manipulative decision fixing, and opponent choosing bad behavior. Paulie, simply cannot pick and choose, or advertently or inadvertently overlook those like Floyd, who also controlled the level opponents chosen. Leading to Floyd's imaginary "0."
Canelo took much bigger challenges than Floyd too. Guy went up and fought GGG and fought one of the best in the world dmitry bivol way out of his weight class and in his prime.
Neither Charlo or ggg have ever been stopped and Ryder was notoriously difficult to stop I think his ko draught ends or he at least drops Jaime once we’ll see
That’s what we were saying when he fought Dmitry Bivol, “there’s no way canelo loses a decisión” and look. Canelo lost a decisión. Let’s stop making excuses
Excuses is what Canelo was giving when Andrade the other champ at 160 and signed to the same promoter called him out Excuses is what he gave when people are demanding benavidez be given his rightful shot at the titles
Food for thought... Canelo is considered older now, Jaime is younger . Canelo could be reaching the age where he'll be getting less of those controversial decision wins against fighters.. it'll get to a point where Canelo will need to win decisively from here on or else the guy who actually deserves to win will get the nod.
Fighters that walk around 200 plus fat, then suddenly are ripped to fight at middle or light weight, I don't care, they doing winstrol. Winstrol is like Decca, but shreads you
Please, God, Lord Jesus, heavenly father let Canelo get knocked out or lose by decision, that way he will learn his lesson about trying to cherry pick fights that No one wants to see In the name of Jesus I pray amen.
Paulie my all time favorite boxer but sometimes he is on some bs . Im not even going to watch this cause i dont like thinking bad about paulie. Is he really saying canelo dont have power to KO Mungia? How can u even utter such nonsense regardless what u feel abot canelo. This guy has fought and KOed light heavyweights. He breaks faces and ends careers and has been facing much larger men for much longer than Mungias short career. Even in his lone post floyd loss, against Bivol; canelo still was the aggressor and threw the heavier shots, just got out boxed that night. Then, to insinuate that Canelo will only win by dubious Vegas scorecards is just plain hating. For the life of me I cant remember one time where Canelo was awarded a win that at least a majority of those watching did not agree. Outside one horrible draw score card against TBE that haters cant let go. Canelo gets decisions cause he gives judges every reason to score for him. Hard flashy shots with responsible defense. Judges will always score for the guy coming forward and landing the more telling punches. Please get off it Paulie cause i hate calling you BS.
Same can be said for you Paulie, you hate on Canelo so much it’s kind of weird. To say he lost the 2nd GGG fight is bogus. Everyone celebrating him losing to Bivol when Bivol is a much larger dude…cmon!
That’s the same thing I thought when they said Connor beat the dog shit out of Paulie. I was thinking there’s no way a pro boxer was getting beat across the ring by an mma fighter.
Why does Canelo not get credit for fighting bivol? The best in the world way out of his weight class. Completely unnecessary too but he fought bivol who is better than anybody he could face.
Paulie Im a fan of yours but man ur blinded by hate on probox tv u predicted canelo stopping munguia and now you’re telling a completely different narrative
Pauline you’ve always spoke the truth even as a fighter and even after a loss which is honorable. So yes I trust your opinion brother and feel the same about canelo. Canelo is a fantastic fighter but strategically waited until GGG got older and the first fight he lost and adalee byrd with her judging ok . the second fight might have been a draw I didn’t even watch it . I’m happy GGG got a lot of money he truly was enjoyable to watch fight so even after a robbery which happens a lot in boxing which loses many fans because of the corrupt ref’s and judges and the idea that boxing is a business first and a sport 2nd. The 3rd GGG fight an old GGG so probably lost. NYWAYS THNK YOU Pauline always
Just not interested in this. No disrespect to the Youngster, at all!!! If not Benavides, I just don't care!!! Hell, avenge the loss to Bivol...I'm just not interested in this
It's always the trash fighters like Paulie that have the most to say, telling boxers what they should do yet they never did. This clown clearly ducked Keith thurman and if you want to go back earlier in his career he's only known for getting his ass kicked by Miguel cotto
Paulie and Teddy tell the awful truth. Canelo has been whupped by Mayweather, Lara, GGG and Bivol. Corrupt judge's can't change what we the fan's have seen with our own eye's but there are always some idiots that swallow the crap.
Marquez does have a KO win over Pacquaio and debatable wins over Pacquaio. Marquez also beat Barrera convincingly. Marquez never had the judges in his corner like Canelo has for the past decade. Canelo would probably have 1-3 more loses on his record if he wasn't so popular.
Easily Canelo has avoided fighters his whole career Like when he got spoonfed an old smaller Miguel cotto then gave the belts up to ggg and ran back to 154 after cherry picking 140 lb Amir khan He been doing this his whole career Froze out benavidez and dragged lil charlo up to 168 as a cherry pick to avoid benavidez Literally his whole career 160 Andrade the other champ and on the same network as Canelo ran up to his face at the press conference called him out and it was nothing but excuses Marquez fought better competition and fought everyone put in front of him No comparison Marquez was head and shoulders better resume and career
I agree Canelo has been ducking Benevidez, and Paulie being a former fighter and a good analyst on t.v. is very knowledgeable. I have no favorite fighters I just like watching Boxing, but Paulie seems to have a personal vendetta against certain fighters. He comes across as a hater.
Canelo thinks that real boxing fans are as delusional as he is. Those of us who have seen the great fighters take on the great challenges know what a cherry picker Canelo is
I love listening to Paulie and his raw and (mostly) honest takes, but come on Paulie. Your hate for Canelo is heavily skewing your view here. It's ridiculous to say that Juan Manuel Marquez will be remembered as a better boxer than Canelo. Thats just plain stupid. A lot of boxing fans dont have any idea who Juan Manuel Marquez even is. People who have never watched a boxing round in their lives know Canelo. Marquez took on top fighters, but that wasnt becasue he was so great. Its because the division he was in was so bare at the time that he kept getting recycled through even after being beat. He didnt deserve 4 shots at Pac-man. The 4th Pac fight should have never even happened. It wasnt a rubber match, Pac had already beat him twice in a row. Pac should have never fought him that 4th time. He didnt deserve the Mayweather fight either. Outside of the draw he had with pac-man and his lucky KO of pac-man, he lost every other time he faced top competition. Lost to Bradley. Lost to Mayweather. Lost to Pac-man twice, and probably a 3rd time if you count that 1st draw which pac really won. He also lost to way lesser known fighters like Ross John, Freddie Norwood, and Javier Duran. (not roberto, javier) You cant compare that to canelos resume with only the mayweather and bivol losses.Yeah Marquez took on some good fights but lost them all except one. Say what you want about Canelo but he never lost to nobodies like marquez did. Its a joke to say he'll be remembered as a better boxer than Canelo. And he wont be by anyone unless they are heavily biased and have an axe to grind.
Why did Canelo fight bivol then? The best in the world way out of his natural weight. Give me a break. He could fight Usyk and you’d still have something to say.
Canelo always gets the benefit of the doubt with the judges. No doubt about it. The table is always tilted in his favor no matter what happens in the fight. Bivol had to win at least 9 rounds to get a close decision. What I have against Canelo is that he's a protected fighter. If you are truly great, that protection is unnecessary. I believe he lost twice to Golovkin but he got a face saving draw in the first fight in a fight he clearly lost. It's really enough to disgust true boxing fans.
