For some reason "Red" "Grandma" and "Wolf" makes quite a funny, yet eerie connection. Like Red Riding Hood, I remember the story says that the grandmother was replaced by the wolf, after he ate her? So in this, whoever Signori De Lupi whom Red serves, they somewhat hid their identity by using the alias "Grandma" which might have been Red's caretaker whom she's fond of. Until something happened and she was replaced by Signori De Lupi, and Red follows it's order without question... that is until Kal'tsit came. She might've struck a deal to took after Red's custody under a pretense to hone her, while actually wanted to teach her to have some conscience and ability to decide for herself.
I think they actually do have the concept of Red Riding Hood in mind when creating her design or her story. Red Riding Hood is one of, if not, the most famous fairy tale that transcend language and at least a few people in the designing team should have connected the dots like: "Hey, the character we are creating is a wolf girl, yeah ? She kind of a hunter yeah? How about making her a Red Ridding Hood reference" or make her design first then make the reference. The story department could have seen the idea and found it amusing so they just make a story similar to the fairy tale.
If your theory is true then this whole crap you write here is contradict with one and other... First, Signore de lupi is one spirit named zarro and not replacement of Grandma. Since in IS event (IL siracusano not integrated strategy), red kill one of the Fang's that is crownslayer teacher however red only reply this is the rules and red just follow what grandma told... Means? Grandma is alive and well being. Second, if say yes grandma replacement is zarro? He would use red to kill both Texas, lappy and all lupos in the event at the end. Remember how powerful red among her peers. But yet again this zarro game and he made the rules that one spirit wolves only took one person as his fang until it died and this game is cycle btw....

Lappland is not a Fang. 1. Zaaro is out of the game until the round ends. 2. As he says himself, he can't control her. His plan was to make her into his new Fang in the next round, but he gave up on the idea after he found her indomitable (plus it could take decades before the game round is finished and who knows if Lappland would even be alive by then), so he just follows her around for the moment as he doesn't have anything better to do, as he is out of the game for the next few decades anyway. What I found interesting was the fact that he mentioned that he might be able to make her immortal in some way (at least in terms of age, as he doesn't seem concerned about age at all).
I don't think Zaaro cares, or doesn't have the concept of time for her But if he were to want to make her immortal... well, we still don't know how far the Faeries go and why they 'don't meddle in mortal business'
I see him following her around not just to escape boredom, but also because he's intrigued on why he can't control her or interessted on how her mind works
I think these Wolves are the physical manifestation of Wilderness. The terms survival of the fittest, Hunt or be hunted, kill or be killed fits to thier existance. And the way they use thier "Fangs" is similar to how living beings try to be at the top of the food chain.
They basically kal'sit, they can't died and funny enough they like to assert dominance by yup battling one and another but they can't die!? So they always draw... That's when Zarro make the game where they only took Fang's or people they believe and make them do battle Royale... Like Kamen rider ryuki, the winner? I don't know the price or what's going to happen but for sure it is just a game in the spirit eyes
With Zaaro not being able to control Lappland due to not understanding her mind, it sounds as though the wolves manipulate rather than control. If that's the case, then someone with a strong will could potentially resist the manipulation, or someone being manipulated could have something so deeply ingrained- so core to their being- that a wolf won't be able to manipulate them to do certain things. For example, let's say a fang had a mentor who managed to aide them in deeply and strongly believing that they only kill true wolves...
The methods of each Signori Dei Lupi to "control" their fangs is different from one and the others. Zaaro is more like "advisor" to Bellone, 'Grandma' is like a "sound inside the head" for Red, and Agnese is like a "mother" to Lunacub. Just like what you said, being a "fangs" doesn't strip off your free will. Zarro can't stop Bellone from killing himself, Kal'tsit can override Grandma's influence, and ... Lunacub still an airhead even with all Agnese's effort to taught her about anything. 😂😂😂
I think the biggest probability is that the next event will have Lappland Alter as limited and Crowslayer as Banner's second non-limited operator. They wouldn't give Lappland a power-up at the end of the event for nothing...it would be a wasted chance
I'm really hoping for Crownslayer. I've been saving for her for literally years and I have the most ten-pull tickets across all servers...just for her.
And apparently Lunacub also have a similar cases, with her having Agnese and always mentioning that this Agnese is the one responsible raising and teaching Lunacub in the wilderness
If we get another Siracusan-based event, i hope to the seaborns that HG would make Lyudmila playable, and also it could be good for Red to have more screentime (Maybe an alter too). All and all, i just want our ex-reunion bullied 'wolf' to join us and be happy
I think we will definitely get one. However, the focus might probably be on Aosta, Broca and Chiave because they are also Siracusan. Dunno who would get an alter there, but very likely for Red to also be involved.
While I agree that Lappland being Zaaro's Fang is a good explanation to her behaviour towards Red, It doesn't make sense in the timeline I think I remember Lappland saying something about Rhodes Island in Il Siracusano, meaning that she was already with us before Il Siracusano, before she became a Fang And if I'm wrong about that, I might be, the other dates we know "verify" this, Lappland is an OG operator, been with us since the beginning, it makes sense that canonically she joined us sometime around the Chernobog and Lungmen incidents, which occurs in 1096 if I'm correct, Il Siracusano takes place in 1099. I know that gacha doesn't necessarily relates to actual dates when operators decided to join us, my point is that the timeframes are so far from each other that I dare to say it's safe to assume that Lappland joined us before Il Siracusano. I wanted to make that clear and hear what other people could add on that since it's a really interesting topic
Also like, it's weird, if Lappland is a Fang why doesn't "Grandma" just orders Red to kill her? The same applies to Lunacub, I wonder what boxes they need to check aside from being a Fang, in order to become Red's prey. I wonder if it has something to do with their relationship with their Signore dei Lupi, what I mean is that, Lunacub for example, Agnese doesn't seem to be to interested in the Death Game, she just wants Lunacub to be strong and happy, that maybe that's why she doesn't qualify to Grandma as a target, since Agnese doesn't care about the game The same could be said about Zaaro and Lappland, they're not pursuing the Death Game for the time being, they're focused on Lappland's goal of destroying Siracusa I hope we get more info on Grandma in the next Siracusa event.
The Lappland's files is old and yes it was before Lappland's Father died as Zaaro's fang. There you have it, her instinct is just nothing more than the fact that her Father is Zaaro's fang, blood related and somehow bound in some way. Edit: Add on the fact that all the while Lappland's mental state is almost always in shambles but her survival and killing insintct is very well top-notch, and she could just sensed that Red is serving a one hella big mystical entity that has something to do with killing Lupos, not just any Lupos, since i doubt Signore would choose weak Lupos as their Fang; they would pick the best or powerful in some way. And lappland was no fang back at Rhodes. Lappland wandered of into the wild so she probably not met red in siracusa. And i think we can't be 100% sure If Lappland is now really zaaros fang
I am unsure if Lappy is a "true" Fang. It is Zaaro who surrenders to her, not the other way around. Which could explain why Red doesn't smell the True Wolf on her. And Zaaro does say that he will walk with her until a winner is decided. With there being implications that this isn't the same round that was started all those thousands of years ago. So this "walking with her" does sound like it's until this round is over. A round that may very well end with the destruction of Siracusa as it exists now. Also was it only me who wondered if Signora Sicilia is a Fang? With the Game primarily going on in Siracusa, I cannot believe that she would be ignorant of it. And she definitely has the skills to be one as well, I'd say. The major reason Bernardo doesn't know then would be that she has set everything up to be The Final Fang to be confronted. Hidden boss kind of style. Zaaro wanted to turn his Fang into a Man with an Army, but Signora Sicilia would be the Woman you need an Army to reach in the first place.
That's what I thought about lap instead of being a fang zaaro is her fang or they are actually just allies now and zaaro learned what it's like to stand shoulder to shoulder with someone instead of just using them like the others of his kind
After Il Siracusano I always thought that Singora Sicillia WAS Grandma. It made sense to me that she would be the one offing fangs who got too out of control to be reasoned with.

@@traski999 she doesn't seem to be either a wolf lord or a fang. Shes' the very embodiment of Siracusan mob society, whereas Zaaro thought it would be a novel tactic to use Bernardo and increasing his power within the familigia of Siracusa to position him in a way to make him untouchable by other fangs or to be able to find/kill them easily. If Signora Sicilia was involved in the game in any way, this wouldn't have been a new tactic or a it would be an arena where she was a level 99 player that Zaaro is sending his level 10 Bernardo up against.
What i like about this entire story, is that we don't know if the signore Projekt Red serves is a good or bad entity. They are, after all, entities similar to Emperor, our favorite undying rapping penguin. Which begs the question: are they working towards chaos? Or is the killing of the true wolves something wholly good for everyone involved except Crownslayer? Also, mind control isn't exactly what the SdL can do. They are able to trigger primary instincts/memories in people. This is the reason why Zarro in gameplay can use the hemolytic scream, debuffing 3 civilians/operators to force them to take true damage and be frozen in place (can't be retreated): they are capable of reminding humanity of their insignificance against the wilderness. Memories sealed in primal instincts in Vigil's case, and what people refer to as premonitions in Texas': they are able to trigger skills that humanity learned in the wild, back when there were no cities. Funnily enough, this is something that both the AK world and ours share: i'm sure you've already had a feeling that something was wrong, but couldn't exactly put your finger on it, only to later learn you've avoided something like a car accident or being scammed. It's a subconscious skill we have etched in our primal brain, something that doesn't need to be taught to be present.
I think it still is kinda strange why Lappland got this intense reaction. They both met before the whole Siracussa incident guven that Lappland in her voicefiles has not settled her conflict with texas. So Red and Lapp met before zaaro took my lapp away. Given the fact that lappland normaly is a fricking hyper aggressive psych who isnt afraid to toss herself into any battle why shows she such a panicky reaction to Red?
It wasn't just her, Texas and Provence both had really negative reactions to seeing her. As far as we know, Provence has no connection to the Signori, so we can assume it's really just a natural instinct of the wolves to feel and fear the feeling of the fangs
@@xXNightSparrowXx there's rumors about red being a lab experiment from a sus facility in Columbia.... where she got some sort of "power up" but that "power up" had a downside which causes other lupos to fear her. (this is just a rumor - personally I don't believe it...) Rather my theory is on the fact that existence of "Grandma" is the actual reason for their fear. *Because if it's due to her being a Fang then other Fangs should have had the same impact/effect on lupos and yet its only Red that has that effect on lupos. All other fangs has not given that effect on lupos. Because if that was the case then Texas should have had the same reaction to Bellone (which she had to Red) and additionally Lunacub would have gotten the same treatment and yet she doesn't and she's also a Fang. So no I don't think it's because of that as that wouldn't make sense.* The real reason why lupos fear her is most likely as I theorize... "Grandma". And I have a feeling that this "Grandma" is not just a normal signori, rather I'm beginning to wonder if this Grandma is actually be something much more powerful than a normal signori, because "Grandma" gives the same amount of power to that of both Zaaro and Emperor... if not even more. After all if "Grandma" makes lupos more scared to such state when in comparison to Zaaro then it most only mean that this "Grandma" has to be more powerful than Zaaro right? @@Aurileas I guess the idea of "Grandma" being a voice in Red's head, in addition to either "Grandma's" presumably high power even among the Signore or "Grandma's" unique aura is why. When Zaaro directly manifested himself, only a few named characters (and not all of them) were stated to be still standing due to his sheer presence. The Signore are directly ties to the Lupo, which handily explains why other Lupo but not others fear Red. The voice in Red's head theory does presuppose Red has a different relation to her Signore than other Fangs, which brings the two of them closer in some way. That presence of a Signore might be why.
When I finished reading the event and looked backed upon Lappland... When did she join Rhodes Island? Because you can't just go on a three month hiatus or vacation (I doubt this can't be the case as they can give their employees too much freedom or can't stop Lappland entirely). Anyway, Lunacub's role in the story will only make sense once you taken into account this whole battle of the Fangs. A teaser for when we get the next event taking place in Siracusa. And thank you for that last chart, hope that would make it easy for people to understand.

Is there ANY chance that Kal'Tsit is actually "grandma?" I mean, probably not a Signora or whatever, but still the entity Red is referring to? Obviously in that case, Red would've been made a Fang by someone else... Unless Kal'Tsit is just so ridiculous that she's basically become a pseudo-Signora and found a way to create a Fang? Honestly, that would almost be cooler. Like, Kal'Tsit is still hiding stuff from us and is way older than she seems, right? So that would be a pretty cool twist. Imagine if she was basically trying to kill all the Gods so they'd stop meddling in mortal affairs. What a twist.

There is no chance to be honest, juste because of 1 fact. Projekt Red refer to Kal'Tsit as Kal'Tsit, but she does say "Grandmother" about the entity. But, What I see myself is that due to her status as one of the immortal ones, she can interfere in the game of the wolves a little, but not stop it. As said before, Projekt Red restrain herself to kill non-true wolf. Kal'Tsit can't stop the game, but made Projekt Red learn to avoid the unnecessary bloodsheds that she could have caused.
I doubt it, she's certainly old enough to be a great great great grandma but she's got to time for these silly games among the signori de lupi when she's tryna save the world basically.
She's likely an immortal entity but is a cat one. Kinda like how Emperor is a... penguin entity. They don't seem to play this game with the wolves, so while she definitely has some crazy influence over Red (really everyone) it doesn't seem to be part of the game of the Signori de Lupi. These wolf entities seem to embody/defend something about the untamed wilderness of Terra. Whereas Kal'Tsit seems closer tied to technology and Emperor might be tied to society/culture?
I don't think Lappland became Zaaro's Fang. For one good reason : Lappland's main reason to escape Siracusa stands in one single word : Freedom. And Beeing a Fang is the exact opposite of Freedom. And Zaaro not being able to defeat her is I think not because of her insanity (which I think is not that real after the end of Il Siracusano. She came to terms with long time inner struggles of her, and I think she doesnt need to act insane for the sake of pretending to be free. Yes, I think Lappland's insanity was a cop out for her thrive of freedom. Of course, she is still kinda sociopathic, but I think she will be less antagonistic and/or acting insane) Zaaro wasnt able to break Lappland due to her being the incarnation of wilderness, freedom. Everyone has something they could trade for their freedom. But Lappy's only desire is to be free, answer to no one. You can't tame someone like that. Zaaro's mind is inclined towards dominiation. But Lappy's mind is indominatable. And he doesnt understand that, everyone has a price, except Lappland. I think Zaaro grew curious and respecful of Lappland, thus decided to acompany her as a parter, an equel, rather than a master. Also, Lappland has always been a combat craving woman, and someone who wants to be the best at it (looking at her constant fighting while she lived with Texas in Siracusa). Wanting to jump on Red is probably just a sign of that. She senses that Red is a killer, someone strong, dangerous. She wants to be better than Red, that's all. Also, if she was a Fang, Red would scent her as a True Wolf and would want to kill her. That's not the case. Also, Lunacub hasnt been entirely turned into a true Fang. In fact Agnese even appointed her to Rhodes Island in the hope she could break free of that game. Which is good, we don't want Red slaughtering her as well.
I honestly did not expected that Lunacub will suddenly pop up in the event. And not just pop up - she is an active Fang of the Signori de Lupi, yet she didn't tried to kill Bernardo Daddy. Then, that fragment with Crownslayer and Red, which was even more sudden. But now kinda makes sense. I become curious about Lunacub and read her files after event was concluded. The most interesting thing was, without a doubt, a letter directly from Agnese (Lunacub's Boss Wolf) to Doctor. And in that letter she expressed her desire to say "fuck you" to their innate desires, and instead of playing this shitty game she just wants a better future for Lunacub. That make me thinking. Kal'tsit is definitely knows all this, right? I doubt she adopted Red just because she is exceptional assassin. Or allowed Lunacub to joint Rhodes just to do pat-pat to her. Maybe Kal'tsit also tries to put an end to this meaningless game, similar to other conflicts she tries to prevent? Seething how even such relict entities like Zaaro and Agnese changing their approaches about how to play the "game", it is not hard to imagine that eventually another "round" could go out of control and bring sooo much shit to the fan that it will shake the entire Terra.
She actually did, but when she confronted Bernardo, she saw that he wasn't gonna fight back, and became curious as to why he seemed "defeated". She even goes so far as to do him "a favor" by retreating into the shadows to observe the subsequent events.
To be fair about 1 point I think is wring in the video, is about Lappland's "Fang" statut. As said before, he did not make Lappland surrender to him, but he accompanied her, to see the end of the game. To me, Lappland is a pseudo Fang, because while she does have a Signorei trying to make her a Fang, she did never strayed from her path, making her something inbetween a psycho, and a Fang. And while he could have her be a Fang, didnt he already lose this round ? Or is it possible to rejoin if you have another Champion ? We have no answers to those questions, at least until there's a new event around it.
that ending to the Il Siracusano event has me convinced theres a Lappland alter coming...... and i will whale like no other whale has whaled before to get her.
Interesting, however I don't think Lapp is, currently anyway, Zarro's Fang for two reasons. 1. He chooses to walk with her, implying that this is a relationship not of master and servant, but of equals. 2. In that same sentence he use the wording "until the winner of the game is decided", not "until we win" or any variation on that, implying that he currently is not participating.
Another interesting thing is that Emperor knows Zaaro and they both seem to be timeless undying beings. In the event, Emperor mentions moving to Columbia and learning/creating/spreading rap there. We already have several borderline gods in arknights, we just lack the specifics on how they work.
Interestingly, the Signori de Lupi seem to buck the general trend of gods/immortal beings in Arknights being incarnations of the ideologies and culture of their people (as the Nian, Kaschey, Maxim, Kjera and the Alive Until Sunset members have been). They fit in this growing group of immortal beings who seem to just do their own thing and somehow all know each other, which includes Emperor, High Priest and the Lupi. Dunno what to make of this, but it's something I've noticed.
@@azeria1 Maybe it's not so much about music but about culture/art in general. If they are reflections of their citizens and their way of life, starts to make a lot of sense.
When il siracusano event started, i just finished chapter 6 and my mind just immediately catch on what happen and understand the relationship between red and crownslayer.
I'm pretty sure that the Signori dei Lupi dont have any sort of ability to mind control their Fangs. If they did, it would go directly against the Game's golden rule: "never meddle with the humans' lives" (IS-10 After). Its much more likely that the many methods of control are likely more simple. Zaaro himself makes a deal with Texas to ensure her escape from Siracusa in return for a favour(IS-ST-1). The Signori dei Lupi do have telepathic abilities; Zaaro's meeting with Leontuzzo (IS-ST-2) is quite obvious, and Red also mentions that Grandma "is calling my name... I hear her" (Red's Talk after E1 promotion) and it does seem possible that the Lupo people subconsciously view the Signori akin to alphas or someone to respect. Direct mindcontrol however, seems unlikely at best. Now, given that Projekt Red has obvious references to the Little Red Riding Hood, its much more likely that Grandma is a Signori Dei Lupi who raised Red specifically to be her Fang. Lunacub's Archive File 2 supports this, as it mentions that "Lunacub grew up in the wilderness. Or to be more precise, she was raised by the wilderness." Its highly likely that Red was also raised by her benefactor, which would explain both the use of the familial term of Grandma, and the single minded thought process that Red puts toward the Game; she was never raised as anything other then a Fang. What personality we see form Red is likely as a result Kal'tsit's work; she mentions that she "must seize every second of the limited time frame we have to convince Projekt Red to acknowledge her existence" (Red's Archive File 4). Kal'tsit's efforts appear to be bearing fruit, as Red does ask the Docter "Do you think having a family is important, Doctor?" and "I weren't a wolf hunter, would I have lived a different life?"( Red's Trust Talks #1 and #3 respectively). Now with that outta the way, I think I'll subscribe. You present the in a clear and precise way while providing comedy and humour to keep the video entertaiing. I don't think that Lappland is Zaaro's new Fang, since she already admitted defeat in this Round she couldn't create a new Fang, because if you could create a new Fang after being defeated what is the logic of the game.
Well, when other Signori Dei Lupi does a sinister act by manipulating people to kill each other, there is Agnese whose become an antithesis. Agnese relationship with Lunacub is pretty wholesome. My fav part is when she mention "but the Fangs of a beast don't smile or stare at you with two big eyes and ask you adorably stupid questions". 😂😂
CMIIW but now that i think about it, something is weird about the signori dei lupi's game. At the end of the event the new alpha was chosen but both lunacub and projekt red was still alive in that round, which made me wonder if there's a loophole in the system
lappland isn't a fang. First, lappland knows she'll be killed by red if they fight and while lappy wants to fight red, red doesn't seem to want to fight lappland. all red says about lappy is that she likes her scent.
I could be wrong, but probably in the next event of Il Siracusano, the clash between Lappland and Red will result in Red realizing that she can be free and that she doesn't need to follow the orders of "Grandma", just like Lappy didn't need to subjugate the orders of Zarro.
Each wolf only gets one Fang per round, so even ignoring that Zarro failed to overcome Lappland (which indicates that she won't be a Fang, since the other Fangs would have to submit to their wolves), Lapp still wouldn't become a Fang until all but one of the other present Fangs are dead and a new round of the game can begin.
i think red doesn't see lappland as a fang before because zaaro & lappland haven't even met yet (or the siracusa event hadn't begun yet) at the time she said it

I don't think Red is hypnotized because if i remember 1 of the rules of the signore is not to include outsiders so i think rather than being hypnotized by "grandma" Red is being used by kal'sit maybe she had an agreement with "Grandma" something like "i will help your fang but let me use her" so Red might be just a innocent child at heart and only knows what she is being told so Red might being treating kal'sit and "Grandma" as family rather than master or mentor. In lappland case i think she might become Zaaro's "fang" in the future because if im not mistaken lappland joined rhode island - return to her family - fight Zaaro - wander with Zaaro - haven't returned to rhode island so maybe the next time we see her she has became a fang then 2v1 texas and Red so lappland reaction to red when they met might be just pure instinct maybe lupos just view fangs as having higher position in the wolf pack POV

I don't think Lappy became Zarro's fang, he couldn't control her as his puppet, so she is free to make her own choices, so I think it's more feasible to say that Zarro became Lappland's fang, since he will ride with her until a winner is decided, thus befitting Lappland's actions

Ya know maybe Grandma is the She-Wolf that was mention in the Siracusa’s founding myth. It mention that the She-Wolf had “ascend into moon shadow”. Plus if Red’s scent managed to scare all the Lupos away, and how mafia’s shenanigans are callback to the Seven She-Wolf’s children conflict. Then why wouldn’t the founding mother either “discipline” or perhaps “worry” about her descendants being meddle with Zarro’s kind. She can’t show herself either-wise that could spelled trouble, so how about having a representative for her then. One that would mean business.
Makes sense that she's called Projekt Red (other than the obvious homage to Red Riding Hood). To Kal'tsit, she's a work in progress. A work in progress destined to stain the world red. Much like every operator that Kal'tsit has taken under her own care, Projekt Red is someone she sees as a sort of catalyst, people that will bring drastic changes in the world. And you can't just leave these catalysts going around on their own. So she mentors them in the way that she can. She's raising Amiya as an empathetic leader, she took Suzuran to use her powers to aid people despite implications that she's just as strong as a combat operator, and she's formed a pact with Projekt Red to make sure she doesn't just kill innocents in the pursuit of other Fangs.
Silly me... I thought the "Grandma" Projekt Red was referring to was Kal'tsit with her being an immortal and all. I thought Kal'tsi was also some sort of ancient supernatural entity too like the Penguin boss guy of Texas and Exusiai, and Zaaro. If Projekt Red hunts down "Fangs", isn't Lunacub in danger at Rhodes Island of all places? WTH was Agnese thinking sending her there!
The main reason why zaroo can't control lappy isn't just BC she's ultra plus crazy but he's also sees ma search history in incognito mode( I ain't telling u guys how ma search history is in lappy head) and he's stop BC he's ain't wanted his mind to be dye in completely black by ma search history
If hypergryph decide to continue the lore for Siracusa. I think Projekt Red can be a 6* alter agent vanguard and Lappland as a 6* Ritualist/Summoner hybrid w Zaaro inducing fear(elemental damage) similar to Kal’tsit.
My JJ Abrams alarm is going off. Red’s turn feels like some heavy tease now figure it out later stuff. I suspect we’ve already seen the plot suffer for it. The boss theme to il siracusano seems to have nothing to do with Zaaro.

Okay I wasn't expecting Grandma to be a supernatural entity but it would make sense and decided to raise Red at such a young age before Kalsit took that responsibility makes me wonder if Red obtain some kind of supernatural aura around her causing lesser will minded(sorry my Provence) lupos shiver in fear, I also wonder if a smol red was take naps on grandma's tail growing a fondness to fluffy tails
I believe it has been stated that emperor and Magellan have a special connection as well, so I assume Emperor has similar mind control powers over penguin based terrans... and then chooses not to use them because they can't give him honest feedback about his music otherwise.
