Maybe you guys should partner up with an incubator company and design an incubator that would be great for hobby farms, keep temp and humidity, quiet, etc.
YES!! I love this idea the ultimate White House on the Hill™️ incubator. They've tested so many and know what the good and bad qualities are!! I can foresee their logo on a box already 🥰
Always an entertaining video to watch. I’m glad you had 3 hookbills hatch. After sending you that batch of hatching eggs I started loading my incubator and had my first hookbill duckling of the year hatch yesterday with 2-3 more pipping now. Hopefully you got some more hens in the 3 that hatched. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend my friends.
("This show is just magical!) I grew up on a small farm until my later , teenage yrs. My parents are both, sadly gone now "BUT THANKFULLY" Those were some of the best memories that I'll always have and treasure.❣ You and your families channel, honestly touch so many lives, And for so many positive and inspiring reasons... With hard work and constant determination, you and your family have come such a long way. Thank you for sharing!
I cant imagine how you take care of so many chickens I own 6 they are about 3 months old one is already the size of a full grown chicken and one is half the size of the rest
After 1/2 years, i still enjoy watching your videos. I have been losing alot of my chickens lately, they are getting older. I have a bond with my chickens, what i mean: My chickens come running to the fence when i enter their pen, they sit and sleep on my lap, they jump on my back etc. I will have to get new chicks soon.
This was a great video! Is Becky feeling ok? She looks like a natural mother. Maybe a girl this time? We need more like her in this world. Your kids look like they’re living their best lives. Jake, you are a lucky and worthy man! Much success to your family and animals. 🥰🙏🏼🐹
I usually look at the video to see how long ago it was made, but tonight, I had so many things going on that I do notice this video was made two years ago. I kept looking at the youngest child and thinking that just looks like the other boy and it can’t be the girl because it’s not wearing “girl” clothes, per se, and it wasn’t till the video was 2/3 over and I realized that mommy was pregnant with baby number four. I love seeing all of these baby fowl… I also love seeing the guineas running around together… My mother-in-law had guinea hens and they were so fun to watch in the evening, especially when the grasshoppers and cicadas came out. It was a race to see who was going to get the biggest one or the most in their mouth. I love truly, love how you have taught your children the tenderness in which to handle a baby animal but also to be a part of the work in building the chicken coop, send the chicken tractors, etc. as well as all the education you share with them… your children are very intelligent, and it is a delight to watch a video😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ thank you so much to share this with us♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The way you do a lot of your filming seems to invite your children to be a part of what is happening. Not just an actor. Sharing themselves somehow differently. I cannot find the the words to describe what I am seeing. But it is so charming and I love it. I also believe this will make a difference as they grow up. The filming and editing is great. Thank you and your family for sharing
Wow! Busy busy busy! Love all these feathered babies... first time visitor.. will be back.. very informative.. plus love your music.. thank you! Have a great day!
LOL - fun to see my comment captioned in the video! 🤣 Kudos to Becky for rocking that beautiful baby belly and still doing lots of chores! I wish I had her level of fitness! 🙌🏻 Guess we could all need a farm to work out every day.
@@whitehouseonthehill I live in the city in PA so I can't have anything besides dogs and cats but honestly, didn't even know emus were a thing until ya'll came across my recommended. I love Bamboo, Cashew, and Peekaboo 😍
To be really honest, as a health care worker in hospital, I'm both mentally and physically exhausted from the pandemic. I really enjoy the videos and I'm really jealous and envy about the lifestyles your family have. ❤
Just a question here for any turkey farmers, I've just recently had some quite young but almost mature turkeys bought from another farm and they ran away because the fence I've put around was too low. I thought I had lost them for a couple of days until I found them hanging around the backside of the farm for around 2 weeks now. They seemed to have settled in fine but are extremely afraid of us but they were close with the previous owner. I walked to them trying to feed them for a couple of days but they just kept backing off from me and I do not want them to run away to another property. Any advice for building a bond with my turkeys so that they can comfortably come up to me for feed and not run away? Thanks
So, I haven't had guineas long, and you've had them for much much longer than I have, but usually I would say keep them inside for a good month to make sure they know where their home is, and don't move them too often, because sometimes they might just leave. Also, when are you guys finishing the aviary?! I can't wait to see what it looks like when all the birds are in it!
That is rude. Don't know if you are trying to be. Are you paying for anything for those children? Are you the father, Uncle or brother. Not your business how many babies someone decides to have. Worry about your own children.
Be nice and if you saw their video when they said they were expecting this is their last regardless of a boy or girl. Anyways, it's them who has to raise their children so what if they have many.
Hoping against hope that a bill currently up for vote in Texas passes so can have chickens again! (The bill keeps HOAs from being able to prohibit chickens, rabbits, and vegetable gardens). It has been over a decade since I had chickens and I miss them and their shenanigans! I'm getting so much vicarious joy watching videos about your family and your farm
Always watch for a glimpse of the emus! I love them as I have a breeding pair myself! I'd like to ask if you see this.. What and where did you find the mesh tarp for their fence! I have been looking all over for that!
Hi...... Jake and Becky nice to see you both and your children to love watching your videos I really enjoy, thank you for sharing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 🎥👍👍👍
