Never underestimate humans' inability to know in advance what will satisfy us. Paramahansa Yogananda said "Ever fed, never satisfied. Never fed, ever satisfied." When I first undertook to abstain for 90 days, I missed P, M, and O, and I wanted them. After I had attained 90 days (which took me 200 days) and then reverted to my old ways, I was surprised how much I missed abstinence and how quickly I wanted to resume it. There's a lesson in that.
Brother i struggle with not being happing in life when quitting pmo, not enjoying anything feeling like i cant do homework or focus or anything if i dont pmo
I’d say, find out what exercises you think you’d like, test em out, see what u like, search up sum ppl who have nice physiques, maybe actors, their routine, basically learn and excecute it
It doesn’t, I had a coaching session with mark from the freedom model and he explained this concept to me. This will be cited in the PMO book also. There’s only one conscious mind and long term memory. It’s very interesting concept
Oh, i thought it was like your conscious mind learns stuff and over time it’s in the subconscious, but instead of subconscious being untouched, u just bring subconscious to conscious. Im interested in what ur saying can u explain more pls?
@@amog414 Isn't the subconscious mind what lets you breathe without mechanically thinking about every in- and exhalation, or walk without having to think of putting each leg in front of the other? Because we're not actively thinking those things when we perform those things.
@@pseudoplotinus I'm not sure on breathing or eye blinking; however, walking skill is in your long term memory. You learned how to walk when you were super young: how to balance body while standing up, how to move left foot first, right foot second, etc. Overtime, you got extremely good at walking. However, you are concisely choosing to walk every time. If you choose to completely focus on some other task while you were walking, you would fall down. Hence, every time your mind thinks "I wanna walk", it pulls the file from long term memory on walking and you execute walking behavior. It happens extremely fast. This is very complex concept and it took me a while to understand. This will be explained in great detail in the PMO book mark is writing
