Fun fact: Exe is canonically obsessed with Sonic. After all, his fascination with Sonic is what made him decide to shape shift his body to look like Sonic. Regardless of whether he wants to torture Sonic, marry Sonic, or make him his Darth Vader style general of his soulless army (just throwing out ideas), X has two goals: keep Sonic all to himself, and conquer all of humanity.

Everyone has been saying it already but I really love how Triple Trouble sounds like a boss fight song almost. Really fits in even more when Sonic's taking BF's spot for this!

I just want to point how how Sonic's laugh is just absolutely amazing. This song sounds absolutely amazing no matter what characters are singing.

Every Sonic here really fits in their role, especially Lord X doing Eggman's part. I love how the fandom basically made him the troll out of the whole Sonic.EXE cast

Also hearing Sonic's confident laugh during the Lord X section is so on-brand I kind of want sonic vs the original triple trouble so it can be Eggman and Sonic laughing at EXE.

Honestly I feel like Black Sun Sonic would've fit more than Sunky, but this was still stellar. Also, the rings aren't supposed to count as notes that add to the count. Not counting the rings, the total amount of notes you're supposed to hit caps out at 2009, the year that the Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection was released. Edit: Due to the extensive talk about how Sunky fit more that EXE, the idea of the order I had in mind was Majin -> Xenophanes -> Lord X -> Xenophanes -> EXE -> Xenophanes. I put EXE in X's place because of his laugh during his transformation.

I like to think the sonics are placed in order of the characters due to their similarities. Sunky and Tails are genuinely innocent characters. And couldn't be really evil even if they tried. Majin sonic and Knuckles are misunderstood and percieved as bad. Knuckles was perceived as bad by Sonic because he was manipulated by eggman. Majin sonic being genuinely creepy wasn't meant to be scary at all. But people was still unnerved by him. Lord X and Eggman are just downright evil. No need to explain it.

Honestly, only thing that would make this Song's Ring mechanic better for me would be making the rings actually useful. Like for example you reach over 50 rings, and it allows you to press a button to go super, and become invincibile until you run out of rings. That would have looked quite nice in this cover imo Still, outstanding work! Another amazing cover as always :D

This might sound absurd, but I have my own theory for each character that Sonic's facing: Sunky: As the "Creepypasta" who values friendship, he's warning Sonic of how dangerous the situation he's going to face and trying to protect him. Majin: As the Creepypasta who lives for endless fun, Majin's trying to convince Sonic to succumb to Exe's whims under the guise of everything being fun. Lord X: As perhaps the inferior version, X is trying to mock Sonic and pressure him to give in to the mockery and leave himself open to Exe. Exe: As God, he wants to eliminate the old and weak self that he finds Sonic to be. So he cuts Sunky short before he can save Sonic, uses Majin and X to get Sonic to drop his guard, and interfere directly to get what he wants. In any case, this remix is wonderful, I love Triple Trouble. ❤️
