This guy is telling the 100% truth. There was recently a student who was found crying bitterly at the airport because he couldn’t get in hold with the person who promised to host him. He knew nobody and was stranded. Ppl in Ghana who are planning to come, make sure u have secured housing before u even board the airplane. Some people are just rushing to get into the country and come and suffer. Trust me, ur ghana life is better then hustling in the cold Canada without knowing anyone.
He’s right. It’s Ontario and Quebec p3. I live in Kelowna, British Columbia, two bedroom and it’s $1150 a month. And jobs too, I wanted to change my job and started applying from just last Friday and got so many callbacks, went for an interview yesterday; Monday and I got a good job, good shift and great salary. It’s like going to Ghana and living in Accra, Cantonment and the rest while sunyani and mankessim are there lol
This is honest interview so far done about Canada 🇨🇦 situation, those of us here know what is going but some people are on RU-vid,social media telling different stories, thank u brother
He's telling the truth. I lived in Toronto for about 23 years until I moved to a different region. Toronto is too expensive, so I'm not sure why everyone wants to live there. The only advantage of living in Toronto is having easy access to public transit to get around but nothing else if you ask me. Right now Alberta is booming again with lots of jobs and cheaper accommodation but housing has started to go up there too but definitely cheaper than Toronto.
@@lindasarpong8544 Saskatchewan is also a good option. I always tell Ghanaians coming into the country for the first time to always consider staying outside Ontario. You can always move to Ontario once you're settled in. Reason being housing is cheaper in other Provinces and getting a job might be easier too. Been in Canada for almost 30 years and that would be my advice.
U can get a 3 bedroom flat for rent with a reasonable size backyard for 950 canadian dollars monthly in Newcastle England. There are many jobs around u can literally cycle or take the Newcastle metro to work
she should go to any of the 4 the Atlantic Province New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, New Fond land and Labrador and Prince Edward Island. she will get her PR fast OR Sudbury in Ontario
DJ please tell the guy that a lot of Ghanaians are desperate to travel because we think there’s abundance opportunities in abroad but he knows there’s a lot of opportunities here in Ghana why can’t he come and take advantage. He should come and set the example for us to know that we can simply make it here. You’re preaching Pan Africanist but holds a Canadian passport
@@sweetpotato908 They won't understand ...they have 180 degrees view! That's why they keep asking "...then why don't you come back to Ghana?". They forget that once you 'unsettle' from Ghana, you have to recoup and regroup before going back.
@ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 I mean it's ok to travel but not with the mindset they are coming in with living like a homeless man for years before if and if u are lucky to get a paper you will have lost almost 10 to 15 years life living with the stress of no paper some don't even had the opportunity to have it before they get deported or die due to the poor style living without paper with nobody taking care of you I'm talking from experience
@@sweetpotato908 Well, they will come and enjoy the infrastructure, the orderliness of the 'system', as well as the law and order (no smelly open gutters and dusty roads, lol). Remember, we black folks don't know how to solve problems. We complain and run from it to go live among problem solvers. I guess the pattern will continue until we figure out how to do some original thinking to problem-solve.
@ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 u said it all in my years living in Germany what i notice is that Africans still can't get it that the westerns don't like and don't want us there because they know that when we get there we don't want to move from there again and they are right to heat us if they did the same who would have build their country?I'm now in ghana for almost 5 years now I have 4 land where i have planted yam, mais, cassava and plantain i also have some small amount of caws and my dear ghanian i would not trade it for even 6000 euro monthly pay in abroad to return there.ghana is my everything after the racial abuse i have experience in another man's land.
DJ,I have listened to your interviews with this gentlemen on three occasions. Every word he says it's true. Tomorrow (18/08/23) one of my cousin is coming to canada for schooling. One bedroom house cost($ 2,600) Three bedroom house cost ($4,000) In Uk,I spend (£3,700) for a month as a house whole bills with three children and two adults. Life it's very hard.
As for someone who's been here for almost 30 years, I would advise any student coming to consider schools outside Ontario especially Toronto. Cost of rent is outrageous now, some people pay more for rent than a mortgage in Ontario. Alberta is booming now and has cheaper housing options. Best of luck to anyone making plans to move to Canada.
@summertymeTV jokes ... housing prices in canada is based on interest rate. Is expensive it's not a joke ... look for ctv news canada see the africans sleeping on the streets. ... from September, most them will die from cold like always .
Is Toronto the only place to stay? There are other good place to stay comfortably . It is like trying to rent a room at Trasako or big cities in Accra and Tema
What this guy is saying is very true, some of us the older ones hates the way Ghanaian youths have become so rude and disrespectful towards elders. I have personally helped a guy from Ghana to get his papers here in Canada, have accommodated families in my house for months without charging them a penny, have helped others in other way not long ago, but if you ask me to do it again for a Ghanaian youth, especially the boys, I won’t. If is a lady, maybe, but the boys attitude on social media, puts me off from helping them, besides them been rude and disrespectful, they are also very ungrateful.
A lot of people like saying “Ghanaians aren’t helpful” and Indians help their own more than Ghanaians do. Difference simply is that Indians come to stay and die here and Ghanaians come to work so they can go back to Ghana. When the Indian is buying houses, he’s able to bring in as many people as they want cause they own the house. When you’re renting, there are rules against having extra people in your apartment. Why should someone put themselves into that predicament where they can lose their home? The interviewee is right; there’s a peace of mind living outside of the major cities. Cost of living lower, less noise, traffic, etc.
That's not entirely true .. Indians take huge loans to stay in canada . They immigrated here with a bit of capital. There is a bank in India that specifically loans them money to and integrate in canada with a collateral of a home or land ,until you pay back. 3 of my Indian co worker came to canada with $30000 loan , that they are still paying. When they were able to settle in ,they use some the money as a down payment for home in canada.
Boss I have that video of that Canadian white woman is not easy ooo even when I was reading the comment section hmmmm it seems everyone in abroad is facing the same thing hmmm
Why do we take our behaviour, character and selfishness overseas, besides after all our struggles,we will still leave everything behind that's what we have to take in mind. Let's try to help each other.
It’s ok to call it selfishness until you live and experience the struggles in a foreign land. I don’t know you but your submission tells me you are yet to experience the abroad struggles. I hope you get the opportunity to live in a foreign land so you can appreciate this piece of advise being given by Danny.
the woman in particular this guy is talking about works 3 times a week and how do you expert to survive when u have mortgage to pay and other bills, How you are painting the cities is to harsh relax bro, Toronto and other cities is you are talking about is far far far better than west African countries
100% truth... I have space but our Ghanaian people not trustworthy I don't want any issue of hosting them in my house. Even 1 bedroom basement in Mississauga currently going for $1500
The bit you said people need to look at other provinces is 💯 true but the fact that Africa is good enough and people should remain is something else I don’t agree with you.
Lol what requirements do you need to stay in a Airbnb except a credit card for payment? There no other requirements. You will need a credit card for payment that's it
Is true a friend just left last two weeks and the person who promise to host him when he got there off the phone he is now frustrated and really regretting bcos he went as a student and gh student most people defer so need a place to stay and organise yourself to work and save and go to school later. Meanwhile this friend was working in gh taking salary over 6000gh . Pls plan well before you go
They way my man is talking tells you how most of Ghanaians outside are not helpful. Indians are more helpful thats y they are all over Canada now. No matter the situation, they will support you. Why will u deliberatly avoid your fellow Ghanaian call after u promise him to call u when he/she arrives.
Which province are you looking , and what type of housing are you looking for.. student housing? I'm a liaison for students looking for housing in specifically Ontario.
We know Africa is rich and bless so he should come back and take advantage of the opportunities here instead of staying in Canada. You always preach you’re proud Pan Africanist but you can’t stay in Africa. Stop over exaggerating
