Instead of using the word coincidence, try using the word synchronicity. God causes synchronicities to occur that create a chain reaction that can lead one thing to another.
Yesterday my coworker/friend helped me learn that the girl I like from work was avoiding me because she's seeing someone else. There's a song that I would sing when she and I worked together. Immediately after my friend texted me the reason for avoiding me the song came out on the uber's radio when I was getting a ride back home. Before all that I asked God to send me hope or angels because I was about to break in my mind/heart, there came an order from a woman who's name was Esperanza which means hope. Although at first I didn't think about it because I was depressed until my thoughts turned to those 2 coincidences. God gave me my answer not once but twice in the same day, coincidence? I think not. Confirmation of him listening and acting because I asked? Definitely. I now 100% trust in my God's way of doing things.
🤯🤯🤯 No coincidence that I saw this video pop up on my feed today. This morning I had an urge to make abbreviated , abbreviated list of all the ways God spoke to me over the last year about something about to happen in my life. I have been keeping a daily synchronicity journal like Scott suggested for a year and my sonar has been singing the same thing over and over and over and over again! I decided to compress all of the out of this world confirmations into one journal post and it’s clear God wanted me to get this message. It’s happened so much that I would have to gaslight myself into believing that what I’m seeing is actually a coincidence. What’s wild is I literally did this on the train this morning and then this came and confirmed the EXACT same thing I did! I know that I’m in the right place at the right time!
Check out Jeremiah 44:17-18. The people of Judah connected their offerings to false idols with good things happening. Those events were coincident, but not casual. God can use coincidence to communicate, but it seems reckless to say that all coincidence is God communicating. Let's praise and trust God regardless of whether the events of our lives appear easier than they should be. Some of our best character development happens in the difficult times, that God may give us. Be careful interpreting difficulties as being a sign that we are not in God's will, nor should we conflate ease with being in it.
For the last 6 years this occurred with me. There was a young lady at my former job whom I like but she later told me that she was dating someone else. A week after that and for the next 6 years I kept seeing her name everywhere. Then one Friday night I said a prayer to God asking for another sign for me and show me the way if this woman is not for me. On Saturday morning I call my cell phone company to straighten out a bill and the customer service had the same name as the young lady. This is too much.
