Thank you so much for this. You guys tend to always talk about what I or my girls 19 & 16 are struggling with in the moment. We moved 9yrs ago from all we ever knew, to heal, after my youngest at age 6 was sexually assaulted. And we’ve recently have been walking out asking God where he was. Hearing y’all talk about it helps them understand it’s not just mom or the therapist saying this but others are doing it.

🫶🥹🫶 it’s such a hard question to ask, and God wants to answer it! I cannot express enough the power of seeing where God was and His emotion in the middle of my (Sam) abuse. It truly set me free of a lot of the anger I had towards Him to see He was there AND He cared so much. We love you and thank you for sharing your story with us!

🫶🫶🫶 it’s very dear to my heart (that’s why I put it on my skin 😂) I had gotten my music pieces on my upper arm first (because music helped me so much as a kid to know how I was feeling) and I knew I wanted to tie it all together somehow. So it made sense to me to have my meeting place be on the bottom and have the music in the heavens 😊

Every song you mention, I go find it then realized I know but never paid any attention to the lyrics smh shame on me lol. But now listening to music, I am being intentional about listening to the words versus the beat.
