5:05 Pakistan does not recognise Armenia as gesture of tolerance with Azerbaijan. Back in 1988, even when Soviet Union still existed, an ethnic conflict broke up in Karabakh region: despite the fact that noticeable majority of population were Armenians, it was a part of Azerbaijan. It was deliberately made by Moscow, so conflict would start between two group of people. First Karabakh War, 1988-1992, Armenian separatists won, either killed or kicked their Azerbaijani neighbours out. Nobody recognised Nagorno-Karabakh as a country (even Armenia), but it was a thing for long time. And Pakistan and Turkey decided to support Azerbaijan on many levels, including diplomatic one: do not recognise Armenia. Second and Third Karabakh Wars, 2020 and 2023 respectively, Azerbaijani won. (military, diplomatically, economically and geopolitically). Most Armenians ran away from Karabakh, their former Azerbaijani neighbours (and their descendants) returning to Karabakh. Slowly, but Armenian government (unlike Armenian people) realising how fruitless further conflict will be, started long-term plan for normalisation relationship with Azerbaijan (both countries officially do not recognise each other). Therefore, Pakistan and Turkey may or may not recognise Armenia as a country in the future.
The US is basically 50 countries plus a bunch of other countries that have made statehood yet. No more room on the flag for more stars. But we are considered one country.
It literally states in this video that what they agreed on was that countries had to be independent, hate to break it to you but you're not, you're all under the US government so you are not just "considered" a country, you ARE one country.
