I have a theory I would like to ask if you could look into for me it is that the end of the epilouge is the beginning of undead nightmare because after the end of the epilouge they say uncle is missing and that is where undead nightmare starts plus we've already seen the mask in one of the shops so... Yeah (please dont steal my theory or if you want to use it give credit) reposted because you didn't see it last time
I have 26k and I'm honestly struggling to spend it, once you have your stable of horses, all the upgraded guns, outfits etc there's nothing to spend it on other than provisions, haircuts and gambling. I feel like they should have included the ability to buy properties, like getting to save up for a mansion in St. Denis.
After watching my kids play, I had to try RDR2. Having not played video games since Super Mario Bros, the PS controller was very confusing! Kids got tired of me texting them at work asking how to do stuff. Then I discovered your videos & they have been very helpful. I'm probably one of your oldest fans at 50 lol.
I love that you can actually watch buildings be built over a period of time. Makes it seem like life is actually going on around you. The world seems alive
You can have a 2nd encounter if you give him his share as well he'll ask you to rob again and you'll make more money the 2nd time, but that only happened on my first playthrough, and im currently on my 3rd.
@@Justarandomartist28 yeah i played my second time through and it happened in Valentine this time too with Arthur. In Blackwater they threw uncle out the side door.
Lol that happened to me but I was riding too fast and went by it and Arthur yelled out "that's it give him what he deserves!" Or something like that... and I rode back and uncles like you could've stepped in lol and I got negative honor for it
Anyone else annoyed that there are structure in these towns that we can’t enter? Like the church in Valentine? Even if was mostly empty, just give me the chance to explore.
seems to me that when there are items in front of a door that at some point they will be gone and you can enter.(know of one house in valentine)..take that back door at the old mansion outside van horn for example, when the sleeping guys are inside things are piled in front of the back door, when they are not sleeping there the things are gone........plus there are items at van horn station you cant access that have a tarp over them but can see them (eagle eye), at Van horn fence there are things piled up at the door leading upstairs.... ...also a item in the widows house that has an item on top preventing you from access another item...St Denis fence there are 2 tins up high on a shelf...they should all play a part at some time...you hae to open it somehow and you may not know when and how you did it...
The reason they had a unique hotel clerk for that mission is because the regular clerk is voiced by Jack Patillo, who works for Rooster Teeth. Rockstar likely didn't think it was necessary to bring him back just to record like two more lines of dialogue.
I had the other encounter that you were looking for. It happened because I left town without returning to him. I had triggered the sheriff during my fight with the man in the hotel room. So I ran to avoid arrest. When I return to Valentine a day or so later. The man who told me about the room stopped me and demanded his share. I paid him and that was the end of it.
No. Not a penalty. I too ran into the second encounter, cause I did not seek out the man after getting the money in the hotel room. The theft was in chapter 2, and the second encounter was in chapter 4. Both at night time. I paid the man. Followed him and robbed him at a convenient place😊
I've had all of these encounters as well but I still haven't come across that guy randomly after lying to him about the money. I was kind of hoping I would. I think the biggest difference in that mission through my playthrough was that after i robbed the guy in the hotel and beat him up, that woman that works the desk threatened to report me and I decided to hit "antagonize" towards her and Arthur tells her to pipe it down or she can get some as well. lol The threat actually works, because she instantly changes her tone with Arthur and turns submissive. Edited for update: I did eventually come across him as I rode into town around Midnight, he will call for you from behind the gunshop and then once you follow him into the alleyway, he will confront you about the money. I decided to greet him instead of antagonize, and then i gave him what I owed him and Arthur said "I always planned on paying you, I just needed the money at the time." He collects his money and is upset with you, but goes on with his business.
I have the answer for the hotel quest. The last story you mentioned. The way to trigger it is by not showing up at all. Take off and be gone for a day and then come back to Valentine. He'll show up and confront you.
The normal hotel clerk is voiced by Jack Patillo of Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth. Also the ticket office guy at the train station is voiced by Geoff Ramsey also of Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth. For anyone that didn't know!
Please keep exploring and revealing more and more about this game. There are so many more things to learn in this universe. It overwhelms me and it's sooooo awesome! I have yet to discover so many events and secret locations and you really help me to understand them and the posibilities that each one gives. Keep going, bro! The lore of this game is so much meaningful when it's presented by you.
did you know you can throw people out the saloon window if you beat them up then bring them near the window and grab them then keep them near the window
The drunk guy you mislead that was seriously funny 😂. I passed him a couple times, but never interacted with him. And I always wondered why he’s always lost and drunk. Then there’s the dude that gets bitten by the snake, saved his life four times already, and then there’s the dude walking around in Rhodes, looking for his friend. Bunch of weirdos lol
I had the encounter with the 1st guy but after the 2nd guy caught me and I beat him to death there was a witness, I got a bounty, had to leave town and never saw the 1st guy again for him to ask for his cut.
It doesn't work all the time - I think there are some hidden timers that I'm not aware of - but leaving an 'area' completely, then going back triggers some of these differences for me. I hop across the border to another state (easiest is go north east from Valentine into the beginning of the Grizzlies or something) then go back after camping for the day. I've not even seen the first of the hotel mission one yet, tho - I'll let you know if my 'run back and forth across the border' trick works with making the next part spawn.
The 2nd encounter for the hotel Robery happens when you do not return to him right away so if you get arrested or die somehow after leaving the hotel and not returning to him he will see you again trying to fight you
can somebody explain how looting works to me, i'm so confused does weapons/ hats you pickup save? also what about the gun icons on the map, i've seen white icons and gold icons, what is the difference, also if I say pickup a rare weapon but then drop it right away is it automatically saved or do I need to hold onto it, and do I lose the weapon I dropped for it? I really wish they explained this system better
Rockstar switched the clerk at the Valentine hotel cuz the regular clear is voiced by Jack Patillo a member of Achievement Hunter. Also Geoff Ramsey another member of Achievement Hunter does the voice of one of the post office workers but I think he moves around to different locations
You can also watch 2 guys get in a Dual and after the one guy shoots the other he asks who else wants to dual and you can accept. Right by the butcher and the tents in Valentine.
So to round it all up in total, do you remember the guy that took drugs with the woman in the bed? That was the Sheriff and Moira Calthorpe. When you visit the sheriff office that night only the deputie is there and you also can not find him in the city. The house where you can find them is exactly the same house that the drunken guy described. So I thing this is the husband of Moira Calthorpe.
I took the money and lied the first time. I returned to Valentine not knowing i would see the guy again and did. I just gave him his half the second time and went anout my way.
I was in the saloon days after I mislead the drunk guy and the bartender said his friend ( a girl ) had a husband that hadn’t come home and still is missing
11:13 When I did that one... the woman at the desk looked totally different. So not only is it not the usual guy, but it looks like the woman you get at the desk is randomly different for everyone
The encounter you are talking about happens if you don’t go back to see the guy who sent you to the hotel and you left town to do something else. He catches up with you when you are in town another time
Foment violence by following with a hit to the customer behind the target, once the latter has fallen; or the talkative of the duo and the nearby horse, and the promised share. So compelling
yes i was able to trigger the second encounter. he picked a fight with me. I unintentionally drew on him so I shot him. not my proudest moment but it is what it is.
As usual, stranger pulls gun and starts firing or attacks you , nobody says a word . Arthur or John bump into someone by accident, they are reporting you to the cops for assault .
I have seen this ending! It's freaking Hilarious. The guy gets really upset and you can fight him. If you beat him you can loot him and he will....Well I'll let you figure it out ;)
That's what happens when publisher like Rockstar makes games with mysteries and Easter eggs all around the world, the players start fantasizing for every small thing
I had one where i was talking to uncle in camp, climbed on my horse and then raced to the Valentine only to see uncle thrown out of the saloon there, yelling for my help. I was buzy at the time so i ignored the encounter but then realized that it was Uncle, swiftly turned around to help but they had already finished with him. So it is confirmed, uncle can teleport with Lumbago...
I had a random encounter with him a while later... he said he wanted to talk to me away from others. I almost left the area, but decided to go with him. We ended up in a fist fight & after knocking him out, I got his money too... I am amused about all the encounterscwithbpwople & even mb the unlimitedcdialogue at Horseshoe (that is the best place to experience a lot going on, because it is early in the game before everything starts falling apart at the seams. I don't know if I if you saw my post on social club, but I believe I have sold the riddle as to why everything's going so badly... I have been spending a lot of time in chapter 2, making sure to keep the group at Horseshoe Overlook while I am getting money saved up so I can get to Aberdeen pig farm and have them take the money... that way, John will have it when Arthur dies. Wild horse shoe, there have been a lot of times where I was in and out of camp throughout the middle of the night. When I was walking by Dutch's tent, the flaps blew open a bit and I saw him sitting on the cot instead of sleeping. This happened a number of times, but I didn't think anything of it. But now that months have gone by, and I have still seen him sitting on the cat.- I made it a point to watch Dutch more closely... and here is something I don't think other players picked up on- Dutch NECER SLEEPS! Molly's the one sleeping on the cot with him sitting on the edge... there were times I saw him clenching his fists with his head down- almost as if he was just at the end of his rope. There been many discussions that Molly has tried to have with him and on quite a few occasions she told him she loved him... Instead of responding that he loved her back, he would say "thank you, my dear." That caught in his tent is not big enough for both of them, and I'm really wondering if he feels like he made a mistake by giving her his cot. Then I got to thinking about Micah (that miserable low life)... many players are found out over time that Micah NEVER SLEEPS either! I think Dutchess been messing up more and more because he's not sleeping and he's not running on all gears! here's something else that I wanted to bring up... It has to do with everybody's conclusions about who is to blame for the pinkertons finding them so quickly in so many different places. Many have blamed Micah, others blame Sadie because of the letters that she wrote to tacitus Kilgore. I don't think it's any of those at all... I believe Arthur Morgan is the one responsible, but I don't think that he would actually come out and admit it. I'm sure a lot of people are asking themselves how it can be Arthur Morgan?? It is because of the name he gave when he met with several people... that name was Tacitus Kilgore... one very important figure in the game he use that name around was the Mayor in Saint Denis. The Pinkertons would be doing a big investigation regarding the robbery that took place there in the city. Because Arthur was involved in the robbery, the Mayor would have told the Piinkertons about Arthur using the name Tacitus Kilgore. Well, if the Pinkertons found any of those letters that were addressed to Tacitus Kilgore, they would have put two and two together! Because Tacitus Kilgore was a code name for the gang members- to know where part of the group has gone, Arthur Morgan should NEVER have mentioned or used that name!! He REALLY screwed up!!
I haved the second encounter too, but it took soooo long, i talked first in the start of the game, and i haved the second encounter a Litlle bit earlier of going to guarma, its real, i swear
Seems fishy that he’s sending you in and the girl is the clerk for that mission. Seems like Arthur was set up for being the man in the town. And in this instance the plan didn’t work.
you'd be surprise how many little scripted things happen when you don't run around every where and cause a ruckus like it's gta online. This game is meant to be played slow, then a bunch of little scripts get triggered.
