Khanya literally hit Nkateko on camera. She’s physically, emotionally and mentally abusive while simultaneously contributing NOTHING to their relationship. And Nkateko had Stockholm syndrome. It’s a damn shame to see. 😔
I was thinking she’s behaving abusively while seeing the clips and thinking if the genders were swapped we’d be a lot more concerned for Nkateko. It seems they’re broken up so that’s good.

I think him nagging her about wifely duties is because she likely was just lying about doing nothing and it was irritating. He didn’t come into the experience to be a mock sugar daddy lol. I’m sorry kennie, but cooking is to love your partner, Cleaning is show appreciation for a husband’s hard work as a working man. Of course these duties can be shared, but there are women that don’t mind it, that’s the kind of woman he needs.

It's a bit different if you're also expecting the guy to provide for you 100% while you sit at home all day NOT doing housework. She literally didn't want to do ANYTHING in the relationship while also being toxic and abusive.

I feel like we are ignoring how abusive khanya is. She felt comfortable to act LIKE THAT on camera for everyone to see. What does she feel comfortable to do behind closed doors. I feel like that should be mentioned? Not even Mildred from the previous season was that toxic on screen and we had no problem calling her abusive when it came out she threw stuff at her partner. Khanya litterly slapped her partner on screen and threw wine on him and was physically and verbally abusive and we just skim past that?? Dissapointed.
That and banging on the table at Siza and shit.. that and Siza's reaction, her sobbing, literally made me cry and all kennie said she gets why khanya was mad. What???? Nothing deserves that reaction and abuse
@@questionablemay 100% agree. Didn't sit right with me that we just skim past that. I feel like it would have been better to go episode by episode. There have been so many important things skipped for all couples in this video.
Kennie actually does call out Khanya for being abusive in a quick note on screen at @37:44. We just lose some nuance since several episodes have been condensed down into a sub-hour video.
The way he abandoned siza KNOWING she was and what would happen, he was offsetting blame and his own consequences onto her. He is also a victim, because she was abusive. Irt was crazy because she was on a war path and we all believed they just loved how toxic eachother was but now realize they aren't even entertaining toxic, just toxic. They are basically if that couple from S2 stayed and ruined it for everyone there (mainly pastors daughter).

@@CrystalCat24there are different cultures in our country, and each one has its common names. Some even 'graduate' across cultures. E.g. Lerato is a Sotho name, but some people who are not Sotho have the name (the name would be Thando in Zulu, for example).
I'd watch Queen E for pronunciation. It's a weird juxtaposition jumping from her channel to here, but she also taught me the names and ect. He had a pretty name so it was kinda grating hearing it wrong but the effort is important
Khanya and Isaac basically being "a stubborn, offensive person vs. A stubborn, offensive person" was hilarious. i didnt like how Ruth acted about the cheating when it was revealed, but i understand why it happened. also Thabi and Siza were such twins! i was hoping Aiden and Thabi would have been in a trial marriage together. Lebo deserved much better than Nolla and i love how she embarrassed him on TV and he still didnt understand a word she said. she stuck out until the reunion to do that! i also checked their Instagrams and she posted "after god fear Nolla!"

I blame it on this possibly being the first season, could also explain why most of the issues stemmed from "core basics" of the US like breaking, "cheating" and ect. It was a slow burn indeed UNTIL that get together 😅 everybody was in the bubbles frfr
You honestly got Nkateko right as many times as you got it wrong which is great for someone who ain’t from South Africa. Like the white peoples in South Africa who grew up around black people really struggle so you definitely better than “some” people
I loved it ! More South African Shows please ❤️ also I kinda had a feeling no one was really feeling the Whyte people , it’s nice to see the tables turned , and not watch a dating show with token black people but it’s ALL about black people❤️❤️
I think the reason Kennie may have had an issue with getting a read on my fellow messy South Africans is because basically the popular tv shows here are soap operas so those tropes are present in our context. I got a read on them pretty easily since these are my neighbours, my coworkers, etc. Also Kennie please don't be surprised by the lack of communication, we have 12 national languages and all we do is gossip
My country though😭😭 I'm stuck between excited for Kennie to cover South African content and incredibly embarrassed that it had to be this show of all things😅

@KennieJD please review “London Fields”. It is the ‘final boss’ of horrible major released movies. In fact, it was ranked second worst movie flops of AT TIME and nobody is talking about it. So many stars in it too. Omg it was insanely bad!
As someone who's only exposure to these shows is Kennie, I feel like I can't really judge if this is more or less unhinged than regular Love is Blind / The Ultimatum. Feels like the same clientele of people from all cultures are drawn to these shows, so come brothers, sisters and those beyond the binary- let us not see differences but the ways in which we are equal. The ways in which no matter what culture we belong to or what earthly soil we are rooted in we are all united by the one common truth: People who willingly sign on to reality shows are just the ~wooooooooorst~!
I always think they do cosmetic procedures before the reunion because they got paid for the filming (so for their last impression + further media exposure after all the mess...)
Have you ever noticed that the SUPER toxic relationships on this show have left, then became pregnant before the reunion? It’s almost like the women knew how the world was going to roast them for their behavior, so became a Mom real quick. 😐

Am I the only one who thought Khanya's "mean girl" persona was initially just for show? Like, I genuinely believed she was wittingly giving us a little bit of Blair Waldorf for the drama. At least just until the whole Nolla and Ruth tho.
Khanya is such a bitter mean girl on the show. Was she expecting to be the it girl or was she hateful from jump because she feels upset she sill had to get him on the show and still no ring. She was pouting and bitter the while time and took it out on everyone else. I didnt not like how she came for the sweetest and shortest girl like siza and ruth who she probably is threatened by or feel shes above because she had real heat for them and thabi is so sweet. Ruth ate her molted lace ahh 😂 khanya only has her mouth to run, thats why she shut her down verbally and she shut up They are basically what would've happend to Season 2 if that "baby trap" couple stayed to torment and ruin it for everyone. That is my opinion because the parallels and insanity of that toxic couple is insane. They are both, toxic individually and as a couple. Good luck to that baby and she deserved the embarrassment of that promise ring for her hateful behavior. I also read his instagram post after the show ended and Nkatego said they had ALOT to work on before marrying and i will give him that. I dont think they should be together regardless, but a child is involved and he may want a nuclear family in the end (prioroties different but life is different). Nkatego set siza up to take the abuse for him and he enjoyed it. The way he smiled and rushed out. He was basically like Colby and DJ but the edit didnt hide the sketchy shii because their partners were working OT Also, when did she get pregnant if they apparently havent had sex in about a year.

Yeah her behavior was out of line. I finished the show last night and was shocked by her behavior…I figured with her calm behavior on the reunion special they butchered her on the internet
No no no listen, there was mess yes and TWO were.. not great at all lol but everyone else I felt like was so much better than US like so much more class and thought put into decisions and communication was better. Idk I liked this a lot more than the other seasons. & there was only one mean girl or like “pick me” girl, that’s huge lol. And no matter the shows content South Africa is beautiful and one of my dream places to visit at least once and I’m sure your a gem 💎
I thought it was so cowardly of Nkateko to drag Siza into Khanya’s house. He knew damn well what kind of person he was sicking on Siza. Then had the audacity to just leave her there
The guy had been gaslit for so long he was just dying to confirm with everyone else how awful she was 😂 But he has nobody but himself to blame for staying with her even after others pointed it out.
I understand having to do a double/triple take on his name but the pronounciation does align literally with the spelling (also for English speakers). And they all say his name 100 times on the show. I'm a bit confused why it is so impossible to copy lol
