Defenders are the most underrated players in football, the massive boost you get from these guys when they save the ball or get a clutch tackle while down 1-0 or tied makes you literally want to die for them
Not underrated, they're not given as much credit because they have less skills. But yes, the determination, the effort to throw everything at ot to stop a chance, much more pressure than on a forward to score who'll get nore chances, unless it's a defensive team with then works together & seldom end up in cases like these
