All these are related veganism, climate crisis, loss of biodiversity, extinction of species, you name the problem and what you'll find is that same philosophy, philosophy of material happiness.

That's the first and the most cowardly way of dealing with a disaster - denial. Just deny it! In a democracy policies depend on the number of people who are sensitive to the need for policy change. We don't have sensitivity at all. Why do we not discuss it? We do not discuss it because it challenges our very basic philosophy of life. What GDP successfully hides is a lot of inequality. The climate crisis is a product of a wrong way of living. We have been conditioned, we have been taught a wrong philosophy.

This issue is important also to realize the middle age aunties of our society, who are nowadays enjoying Avatar 2 in their nearest movie theatre, just under the compulsion of their kid's demands, without grasping the core idea of such projects, who is warning us against the Climate Catastrophe since the beginning of the 21st century. Recent Kannada Movie Kantara, which becomes the talk of the town, also stressed on this point of Nature conservation and the importance of coexistence. But the sad part is this, that majority of the Indians only took the belief part of this film, which will surely aggravate their superstition only. People will realize the intensity of this survival crisis, but that time it will become impossible to catch the train. We will left with remorse only while handling our dying kids with a skin cancer and all other gruesomeness of Mother Nature. Aman Kaushik

What i learned from this discussion is: - use trains instead of flights in India - don't keep buying new clothes, cosmetics, Processed foods, furniture, & lot of unnecessary stuffs - stop eating animal products like meat, fish, poultry, etc - use public transport instead of cars - use solar electricity if u can - avoid air conditioners - save water 💧 - carry a jute bag while going to market - plant many trees 🌳 as possible - live like a cave man with minimal material desires & greed. This will not only save planet but also make you more happy, satisfied & humble. - if all the celebrities & influencers preach all the above points to their fans & followers, it will bring a huge impact. We understand everything but in practical very few people doing something for this earth and the environment. Now it is very necessary to come to solution. Problem never solve by talking or discussing all-time. First we need good government. More and more educated people come forward like doctors,engineers, teachers etc.come forward and join politics. Good government policies can control pollution, population, and economic growth by not polluting environment. We people of India, need good government, without government policies,law and order nothing will happen. Problem is there, now time for solution. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

On one hand country like India see population as problem and other hand south Korea need more people. Carbon footprint of Indian is 8 and American is 78 . Seems like developed countries transferring their burden on developing and poor . This problem is one of complex problem . Please share your insights 🙏

As a common person you can do the bare minimum to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss but the real evil and reasons are the top 10% of the worlds industries and companies who emit most of the green house gases , as a individual we need to raise awareness towards them and how they are affecting the world.
