You have to have the salad with Greek / Turkish / Middle Eastern food, with the dressings etc. it’s all part of the flavour experience. Plus a good dose of vitamins too!

Red cabbage, lettuce in a wrap with hot grilled meat is a must. Squeeze of lemon juice, freshly diced parsley with garlic and chilli sauces. Lovely!

These Leather Lane blogs are bringing back some lovely memories of when I worked around the corner, terrific time of my life and lovely to see again through your vlogs mate, have you tried Exmouth Market at Mount Pleasant yet, there’s some cracking street food there as well, and if you do venture that way there’s a place called Wilmington Sq it’s behind a pub called the Wilmington Arms where you could sit and eat like you did in this one, it’s beautiful in the spring 👍🏻

Wow! Watching your great videos and all the different types of food you eat, I've realised that as I'm getting older "53" . The things I would never have thought of eating in the past, I love now. Covid didn't help, lost my job at the time, didn't have much money so basically I was eating anything. Realised where has all this delicious food been all my life. Lol. Darren, there's a tree somewhere in London, which a man would sneak down in the middle of the night to carve then paint little magical figures on for his sweetheart. I think maybe Hyde Park? Do you know of it/ where it is? I saw it on a listverse type deal some time back and I wish I could remember who carved it etc.. I don't know who else to ask! As I live in Durham, it'll be a long time before I get back to London :( if ever you filmed the tree it would make my day my friend! I hope to find out more about it and it's location so I can see it in person one day. It was absolutely beautiful and such a charming back story. All the best :))

Looked tasty. Used to go to Leather Lane when I worked near there in early 1970s. It was more of a general market then, lots of surplus stuff from the garment factories and a lovely European bakers with cream cakes and rolls.
