Hello guys i born as a Muslim and grow up but i dont feel happiness in my religion i feel something is missing something is not right so i try to search for the truth and its so difficult for me i hide somewhere just to read Bible im glad and blessed that i found Jesus Christ he is the truth i felt free and happiness after i read the Bible and understand it .... We are both sober now and have been for years only through the grace of God and many prayers. Trust in Him every day and do your best to allow Him to always be in control of your life. @@muansangafanai8662 To me, its saying that Jesus isnt "safe" but he is good. Being good doesnt always mean being safe. It doesnt feel "safe" or comfortable to start tackling an addiction, our pride, or our issues. If it felt safe, then everything that Jesus did on the cross was pointless. I hope that helps, its one of those quotes that can be interpreted different ways depending on where you are in life.
Yesterday I had to walk away from my mother in order to heal from the spiritual wounds she has inflicted on my life. So far, it was the hardest thing I had to do and it was painful. This morning my phone notified me about this video. "Sometimes God gives us a blessing that looks like a wound." Thank you, not only did I receive all of my answers in a 12minute video, but I also felt a huge sense of peace and restoration. For when I heal my freedom will not only benefit me but also for the generations to come. All glory be to God, for He is good. ❤

This is my tribe. These are my people. Christians tend to make depression seem like a sin. We often confuse culture and conformity for God working in us. But here is a God going wild for us; asking us to fight off our need to prove our "Good taste". All He wants of us is our reckless abandon for Him.

And the words regarding lineage....so right on! If the Word of God is silenced in this generation, or the next generation, then what of the generation that follows? Proclaim His Name boldly! Declare His Salvation in you, Boldly! For as we go, so goes God's plan for us and for His Creation!

You just made me realize, wrestling with God strengthens my relationship with him. And the video you played, he got the words right out of my mouth. I thank God for sending Brooke to reveal the Bible readings I've been studying and what my days I'm going lately. I'm binge-watching was supposedly to know who is Brooke, then I found our God's message to me personally. Sound like as if He is speaking currently to me, then, you know, I'm broke into tears. Thank you All!
God works in so many strange ways. Just the way this message came to me combined with another event this morning was totally God at work. I am wrestling with God. Wrestling very hard.... My wife decided to divorce me 3 1/2 years ago and leave our faith. She succeeded in the divorce 2 years ago despite so many messages of restoration that had bombarded me. During that time, I had what I thought was a message from God that she would come back to the faith and she would lead all of her non-believing friends and family to Christ. After the divorce I was frustrated and I decided to give up on my stand for restoration and to move on with my life while continuing to pray for her salvation and just trying to show her the love of Christ. I am not sure how well I succeeded at that, but it seemed the more I tried, the worse our relationship became. The last several months I have been feeling a strong burden for her and her restoration to me and to God and it has brought back all the pain...... In my human nature, I do not want to be concerned about her. I have been getting very strong messages of restoration despite not wanting to continue to pray for her. This morning I got a text from a friend from a bible study that we did a year ago. He said that he and his wife had a horrible divorce but that God is working a miracle with them and he can do it with me and my wife. I did not want to hear that. I do not feel I am strong enough to continue to provide her grace when she hurts me and makes my life difficult. I am wrestling with God because I do not want to follow that path that he is leading me on in relation to her. I cannot imagine how God feels when he continues to show us love and we deny him or ignore him. It is so hard to do in my human weakness. Anyway, after that text, I was studying this morning trying to complete a major project for school. As I was searching you tube for videos on how Atrial Septal Occluder devices work, I saw this message in the list of videos. I love Hillsong, so I clicked on it. The message of wrestling with God really impacted me because I had been obedient to God for years and I was not seeing the fruit. I wanted to stop. I was angry that God seemed to be pushing me to continue and I was fighting it. When Brook also mentioned that on the other side of each one of our freedom is an army, it brought to mind the time when God told me that my wife would some day bring her friends and family to faith. She also mentioned that this is a battle for our lineage and generations and I feel that I am in a battle for our children's future and the future of all those that my wife may impact when she does come back to faith. It is not about me and my pain. It is about God and his plan which is so much bigger than just me and my wife. Thank You Hillsong for putting this message out there. I needed to hear it today.....

I need prayer in my life and typing this, well it’s hard not to cry. I need healing from asthma but I need much more healing and just going through season after season and I’m trusting in God and love when I’m on the struggle bus but that doesn’t mean I’m always happy about it. Praying for you! Study and work hard, but TRUST harder! Remember that no matter what happens, God's plan for you WILL be fulfilled. Remember that what may seem like an obstacle or a failure is actually preparation for the destiny God has for you. Jesus has more for your life than you could ever hope or ask for, so his path to get you there may look different but it's always best, and for your and other's flourishing!
I know how you feel. I have been feeling so depressed about the ruination of God's beautiful planet and the way it is treat and the selfish wars going on. I am trying to leave my anxieties at the foot of the cross, lay my burdens down and have faith. Write down what you are worried or anxious about, light a candle have a bowl or ash tray by the candle, say a prayer and then burn your words into the bowl and leave them with God. x
How amazing and awesome is God’s love for a sinner just like you and me, we can’t even begin to comprehend it. Thank You Lord for your unconditional love no matter how sinner we are.

I know that my God is God of mercy and grace and he doesn't condemnation for those who trust in Him. I lost my father a few years back and everything changed from that very moment itself. It was steep downward spiral since then, including my relationship with God and my faith itself . I'm trying really hard each day to be better and walk with God but it's hard. Please pray for me and my family.

Pember put it more than a century ago: God can only bring his children to full maturity through the school of affliction. He often needs to break our Self so we can open up more to Him. I have wrestled with Him so often through my life, and realize that every wrestling session was one in character training, a lesson in humility - to be able to conform more and more to His image. Ogwapit Princess Winnie I pray that you did not mean what you wrote about us working harder for our salvation. The Bible makes it perfectly clear in the New Testament that no amount of our striving can earn us salvation from the penalty of our sins. Romans 6:23 says “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. Ephesians 2:8-9 says “for by grace you have been saved through faith, and even that is not of yourself; salvation is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast”. God’s grace is His unmerited favor for something we don’t deserve. Our faith is believing that Jesus accomplished the work of forgiveness that we could never earn on our own. All this requires is that we do what a gift receiver does anytime a gift is offered, we must receive it. This receiving requires that we acknowledge our sin that has separated us from Him, repent or turn the opposite direction from it, and declare Him to be the Lord or Master of our life from now on. Unfortunately, many choose not to receive this greatest of all gifts. Please do not think that you can work hard enough to earn your salvation.

Many will say to me that day, " Lord didn't we cast out demons prophesied, healed the sick in your name? But I will say go away from me for I don't know you" JESUS Christ came to show us the way, truth and life we should receive after this world. Abraham was justified for GOD Lord by faith and obedience to GOD including his works. There are many who don't have faith in JESUS Christ because the devil has corrupted their minds. Faith and being submissive to the commandments of GOD Lord is what I consider as the works we must observe as dearly children of GOD in salvation.
