What site did you use for cost of living in different cities?

I like the idea of moving to a low-cost living area. Property taxes in Fort Worth are very high.

My pension is based on the cost of living in DC, but I live in an area that has a 35% less cost of living. There is a website to compare the cost of living between two cities.

I love that - Retire to something. Because I want to live uber comfortably, monthly amt for me right now is high. The amt I need for essentials isn't high but for what I want? 🙈 it's high. But, that's why I'm Working hard now so i can afford it down the road.

You are well on your way. I am doing forced scarcity by only living on the bare minimum money coming in and investing a 50 to 75% of my monthly income. Later, I will have more to spend in retirement.
