I agree thats a holding cell of some kind. Must have been from back when this place was a poor house. Antone got into trouble or rowdy could be they held them until the sheriff came or something.

If I were doing these kind of videos I would try to find out it's history and try to find some old photos of what it used to look like. Great old place. It looks like it could be restored.

Seems like maybe it was originally a hotel or something in an early town where buildings were multipurpose.

My house is so old that they had to put a bathroom in one of the bedrooms so I've got a huge bathroom and it's awesome and my staircase has got square wood dowels instead of nails or anything you're so funny when I went to go see it I told my landlord I want it is well you didn't even go inside and I said I'm telling you I want it so then when we went in the house looking around downstairs I told him again I want it he said well you never even went upstairs so then we went upstairs and I kept on telling them I want this place I want it he's will you can have it then and since then I love it and always will all it took was looking at it and peeking in the windows it would be so awesome to have a hallway like that and have two staircase I would constantly be a rearranging furniture and moving things around and have it so beautiful and clean only problem is I told my children and they're a little if they ever came in late in the night and try to sit down or climb in bed and not feel where they're sitting or whatever they'd be on the floor😂😂
