@@ghoultooth we’re talking about how things were done almost a century ago. Corpses were donated to science or picked up by medical schools, often studied first then turned to skeletons to be further studied and referred to. Consent had been given (or not) long before it ever got into his hands when he graduated medical school. The only thing unethical in that story is the terrible idea someone had to fit a lightbulb in it. Scared the shit out of me several times as a child lol.

They still learn on real humans and human skeletons, you know. They’re just donated to medical schools now instead of stolen from a fresh gravesite. Still a bit unethical to have a human skull with a light bulb in it but hey the skull ain’t talking
