In the first game, there's a reason why the prisim only stops when Steven tells it to; if you look at the story the other gems tell him 'it will only activate when a really powerful Gem touches it' IE a Hessonite, or a Diamond... Steven touches it and wishes to go on an adventure with RPG elements and monsters, the prism obeys him, it's why nothing attacks him in the first game. It's something you only realize in retrospect, knowing Steven is Pink Diamond. In all the other games, not being the commander of the prism, the enemies fully wail on stephen just like anyone else, and Stephen really has to try and override the prism listening to its former master ,versus the first game ,where it took 'be who you want to be' as a direct order. It's kinda something when you realize the prism was given free will against its will.
It's hurting my brain trying to think about this... is the prism alive now? Or is it just following a set of orders and not making any conscious decsions? Does it want to be alive? Can it want? Did Steven give life to an inanimate object AGAIN?

I remember that when I first saw Hessonite I was absolutely losing my mind over the lore implications of her design, and I have not stopped doing that every time I look at her. Because. Hessonite is a type of Garnet. The fact that she looks like CG Garnet, who is a fusion of two other gems, has some Implications about Gem code and how fusions name themselves.
Oh hey, side note here, do you remember way back when in the show when Steven first revealed he was a diamond? Well, he tried to get the diamonds to heal selkie. For a while it worked. She mentioned she failed to heed her Hessanite's orders to evacuate. This was obviously a competent warrior, You think it could be the same one?

I was lucky to get and finish all games. You could feel how the gameplay evolves, like how in attack steven was basically only the inventory bag with a healing skill. In Save steven is capable of actually fighting and finally save stevens abilities are more evolved.

I first beat it when it came out (connie, greg, bismuth, peridot, and lapis werent out) bismuth just dipped after giving you the prism containment thing and you just had to go to a level and the new characters just said said "oh, hi, looks like you could use an extra" pretty much
The hessonite battle was so hard for me bc she just kept attacking Connie and Steven so I couldn't heal 😭 I didn't even know she could attack the light monster until my third time playing the battle
As far as I can tell use Peridot cause her machines serve as a good enough distraction. And also didja know you can heal the Spectral Conclusion to greatly debuff Hessonite?
a detail that is always either overlooked or underlooked is the fact that in the show on season one with the episode with the upside down pyramid the whole thing was runned by what almost resembles prism in the games. and when the prism was removed the mechanism that powered the whole building has vanished..... it was said that it was semi-cannon in some ways so maybe this game runs deeper then we think? maybe I am overlooking it, but I need these prisms to be cannon
Well the dlc updates There’s 3 Hessonites warship ( with the peri and squari returning ) Black hole ( Connie appears and new boss aka light versions of pyrope and demantoid Roses room ( idk much about it but it adds Greg happy to see him return )
Rose’s room is basically a “rouge-lite” side mode that’s different from the story mode. It’s starts out super hard (even perfect blocks can’t prevent one shots) but the more you play the easier it gets. There’s also a very interesting secret once you reach level 35.

Rank 35 unlocks Hessonite as a playable character, and unlike her in the games final boss, she's a full fledged character with her own costumes and upgrades No clue if that's how she's unlocked as a team member in the main game (or if she's locked behind postgame, tho I'd assume so)
If you wanna know just HOW broken Bismuth is in UTL: I managed to beat both Pyrope AND the final prism boss on my first try without taking damage as Bismuth got that lucky 25% instant forge on BOTH battles, then I just spammed Peridot's telekinesis attack and took them both down. It was quite hilarious. XD

In unleash the light the main people I always had on my team were garnet and bismuth because they’re the strongest ones not counting fusions and I always had Bismuth craft a fire buff for the team so our attacks gave a burn effect and Sunstone was the main fusion I used because like Bismuth she can attack multiple enemies and deal burn damage

Yeah I'd want to hightail it out of there too 18:33 She left my team once, and even then only 'cause I was leveling the other characters up. I beat Demantoid in two full turns and one move, beat Pyrope in two turns, and beat the final boss in two turns. Absolutely OP.
Steven universe is fuckin' awesome. I enjoyed the whole thing, the games are pretty interesting and the parts that connect to the show makes em even better.
There’s a Roblox Steven Universe game called Galaxy Union! I always wondered where the game’s maps came from and I found out they’re from these games! It’s really fun usually, I’d recommend it for people who generally like Steven Universe because you can use codes and run around/fight people to get coins, which you can use to either buy spins or just gems! Each kind of gem has its own abilities, and some gems can even fuse with others! The gems I know of are Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Steven, Lapis, Peridot, Bismuth, Ruby, Sapphire, Albite (it’s the gem from the weird room maze in SU where they’d go in one room and after going through 3 rooms they’d end up in the main area again. It’s the episode with Steven on the teacup ride.), Topaz, Aquamarine, and some others I can’t name. If you actually wanna play it, a good code to use is 0000, if you ask ppl in the server, they’ll probably give you codes.
I love steven universe. I still watch it even though the show is over. The storyline and lore is so interesting! Especially the gems backstories. My favorite crystal gem is "Lapis Lazuli" Lapis is a lazuli. Lazulis can conquer abandoned colonies or planets. I think..i love how unique she is! Her power to manipulate water into any shape or as a weapon is so cool to me!! Amethyst or pearl are my second to third favorites. But i love lapis the most. And her theme "Mirror Gem" shows sorrow, sadness and anger. Her sorrow and sadness is about her being trapped in a mirror for like 1000 years. Her anger is about the crystal gems knew she was in there but didnt help her. Lapis is such a unique character to me. But steven's lore is a bit interesting as well. Because her mom aka Rose Quartz or also known as Pink Diamond rebelled against the other high diamonds blue, yellow and White. Pink wanted a colony but the other diamonds did not allow her to due to them thinking she isnt mature enough. She asked a few more times and they finally allowed her to. She wanted to play with the amethyst guards but she was aware about the diamonds scolding her..until pearl recommended that she shape shifts into a quartz soldier. Pink diamond saw the beauty and resources on earth. She realizes that the colony will destroy all life on earth. When she told the diamonds she didnt want to continue the process of the colony. The diamonds told her to finish what she started. She rebelled against them..she had a plan. Pearl and rose, pearl shape shifted into rose. Rose turned into pink diamond and they staged the shattering. After that She reformed and she PERMANENTLY took the form of rose. She decided to create a rebellion. Against the diamond authority. After they heard the shattering they were FURIOUS. They launched a direct attack on earth causing the rest of the rebellion to get corrupted. The only members left were Garnet,Pearl and rose. Until..rose met greg and decided to make a new life. As steven. Started with cookies cats and ended into a show steven needing therapy- i love how the show ended so freshly and smoothly without cliff hangers.
No, i think, WE think, it's coming back! I've seen on Google that Rebecca Sugar is planning on returning the show in 2022. Naming it "Steven Universe: The Return". Which is pretty fitting considering that the show is FINALLY returning to it's beloved fans! Or either i was dreaming about it, anyway, i hope it's coming back! Someday.
it is coming back but probabaly on a later date watch roundtable they explain it on how they might be coming and the story board director deleted a tweet to the roundtable. but pls note if they do bring it back the planed it to be for a more young adult audience considering we the viewers of the show grown up.

Still sad Steven universe ended I missed when the fight in homeworld was live and didn't watch it until this year and then watched Steven universe future and now I'm mad/sad I never watched these when aired it would have made me feel a bit better
Now if only they could make a Fourth Game, like one where right after the events of Steven Universe Future, Steven finds a meteorite that contains a mysterious gem-like object with a crack in it, then when he touches it, it causes a cataclysmic event that makes the fabric of Time & Space get all wonky, and 16 Year Old Steven ends up meeting his Younger self from after the end of Season 5, and the two of them go on a Planet Hopping, Time Travel adventure, where they can meet up with characters they know, but from different Time Periods, like have it where the Present Day Crystal Gems can encounter themselves from the 1990's, or the 1750's, or 3000 B.C., or even from their time on Homeworld, and Greg could meet himself from when he was in his 20's(aka Mr. Universe), and Present Spinel could meet her Past Self, and Players could use this as alternate costumes, or play as a bunch of the Same character in a single group, the Stevens could even meet & team up with their Mom as both Rose Quartz & Pink Diamond, Players can even get a chance to replay battles from past events & episodes against some of Steven's friends back when they were his Enemies, and in the Final Boss battle, Present Steven, Past Steven, Rose Quartz & Pink Diamond all battle the Cracked Gem responsible for this problem, and for the Final Move the four of them all Fuse together & use their power to heal the Gem, the Gem then realizes what it did was wrong & plans to put everything back to how it was before, and before that Both Stevens get to say one last goodbye to their Moms, now with the Stevens having a greater understanding of their Moms & knowing how much they love them, and in the end everything goes back to how it was before, and Present Steven is the only one who remembers anything that happened, and now Steven feels like he got some Closure from those events & can move on with his life feeling happy & like a Huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders, A game like That could make a Much better Finale to the Steven Universe Franchise.
We've already had time travel in Steven universe, in a main episode no less, so I'd veto the time travel idea, but Steven needing to heal something that for once has absolutely nothing to do with his mom fucking up that ends up helping him get just that further bit closer to peace is actually a good idea. Perhaps a gem she failed to protect by no fault of her own, a general that went off to do their own thing during the war that created some kind of super prism, both having been damaged by time... And also probably just getting stuck on a planet with no help because secret plan to create super prism. Could be neat without much retreading and keeping the idea of prisms at the forefront.
@@shadowsnake5133 I'm well aware of the Time Travel episode, but what I meant was that Steven is not merely travelling down a single line of Time & messing things up, Time Itself has been Broken, scattering various characters & items to different Planets & different Time Periods, and the two Stevens need to fix things if they want to get the Universe back to how it was before it got all Wonked up, think of it like a story similar to that of Sonic Generations, or Crash Bandicoot Warped and/or 4: It's about Time, but the gameplay is still similar to the Light Trilogy.

Say, i kind of have had an idea in mind for a Sequel-series (or side-series or something like that) titled: Steven Universe: Beyond Steven, now i’m pretty sure you can probably already get what this idea is primarily about through the title alone, but just in case you can’t, i will give you the primary thought processes that I have had in mind for a while now, Basically, the main idea behind this, would be that it is a show, that goes beyond Steven’s perspective and focuses on the perspectives of characters other than Steven, In other words, the show would be made out of at least five (or lower) spin-off series, that each takes place in separate settings and/or locations from one another (kind of) and is based majorly on (though not limited by) the perspective of one particular character that holds some kind of great significance to Steven (in one way or another) within that said setting. If anyone has some questions about this idea feel free to ask.
@@kingofdemons948 sort of, i do of course still intend for Steven to still have some sort of presence throughout this Series, not constantly, but enough to make it clear that he’s still around somewhere and is still somewhat in touch with everyone in someway, even though he might not be around for any Main Plot stuff throughout this Show, In other words, i sort of intend for Steven to be pretty much similar to what Rose Quartz was sort of considered as in the beginning of the Original Show, with the only exception of course being that: 1. He would still be alive, 2. We can actually be sure of and even know personally that whatever might be said about him can be and is true and 3. The only mystery that would be circle around him, would be the knowledge of how he is doing after the end of Future and what he might be up to while everyone else is doing their own thing throughout this Series. But anyway, the short version is, yeah, that is basically the premise, yes.

"Let's go on an adventure!" -Steven Universe, right before he jumped off the cliff - ending his life prematurely, thus causing all future events to have never happened. "OH GOD!" - Everyone is now rushing to the hospital, attempting to keep Steven alive. They had failed. Steven was dead. All that was left of him now was a body, and a gem. Of course, Pink Steven (the gem) now being free from Steven, immediately formed. Nothing. No emotion. Blank. Things attempted to play out normally, and everything went almost normal, however Pink Steven had no emotions, resulting in blankness. Everything played out normally up until Spinnel arrived that Pink Steven was reset to Pink Diamond. The rest played out normally up untill the middle of Future, where Pink stayed on Homeworld instead of coming back to Earth.
