Yeah.. 💀 I literally watched playthroughs of Yokai Watch 3 (both in English and Japanese), Yokai Watch 1 for Switch, etc... for the past few days... Apparently Level-5, the team behind Yokai Watch, disclosed that they're aiming to release their games in Japan and in the west simultaneously from now on! Additionally, Yokai Watch just had its 10th anniversary, and the CEO of Level 5 said a Yokai Watch game is in development.😳

I bought a ds and the game a bit ago because i used to love watching it around it's original release when i was younger and it was actually fun as heck (and i remembered a concerning amount of the names). I'm genuinely excited to buy and play the others. Also people may make fun of it for being so similar to pokemon in certain aspects, but im pretty sure yo kai watch actually rivalled pokemon for a while in japan. Anyways this series was neat and a big part of my childhood, glad to see people still remembering it

Mod your 3ds to pirate them, scalpers have upped the price drastically. If I remember correctly 2 goes for around 70-100 and 3 is 200 something

I think it's just nice having the physical copies, and though i have modded my ds i prefer to avoid resorting to piracy. granted, psychic spectres, yo kai watch 3 and both versions of busters are quite expensive so i may be left with no choice. thanks for the tip

It took me a bit to realize that over half the people I know that know Yo-Kai Watch only know about the show but not the game. The show is in the same category as plushies and stickers, right?! I mean obviously a bit more than that but the point is that the game was Yo-Kai Watch! I am super shocked that people found out about the series through the show and think that the show is the main thing. But maybe by thinking that, they'll lower their standards for the game and be blown away!

The goats who made the Yo Kai Watch theme, also created Phineas and Ferb including all the songs in that show. The singer for the theme is Swampy Marsh, one of the two creators and sang on most Phineas and Ferb songs.

There are 4 main games (and a few almost warrior-like games like fire emblem and Hyrule warriors). 3 that are Ds games and 1 more that's for the Nintendo switch but that is in Japanese so when i played it i had to do a lot of translation, in my opinion is 3 is the best one because it unlocks so much new content and brings back some old and 2 and 4 are really good as well but i think 4 is better out of the 2. :)

Yokai watch was one of my favorite series, I bought all the games (besides the opposite games like Fleshy souls and white dog squad) I watch a bit of the show which i know all the words to the intro and outro. I even got the Yokai watch model Zero . Its such a good series and nobody outside of japan gave it a try, it needs more love.
