It boils down to "all Colours are insanely strong, but have different specialities, so comparing them is hard". Argalia specialised in team-work and, well, agility, I suppose. The Red Mist, on the other hand, always worked alone and relied on pure strength. Both are good at what they do. Argalia somehow controlled a bunch of highly unstable individuals with absolutely different goals and, well, Kali is Kali, nothing more to say. Same can be said about Roland (I know that he isn't a colour technically, but The Black Silence icon suggests that they were a duet and the sheer fact that people confused him as one says enough). Endurance and weapon versatility (he probably used the gloves regulary, "i missed the feeling of these" and all) are most prominent features of his. He couldn't WIN against an Arbiter and two Claws like Kali did. Stall? Probably yes.

The Purple Tear excels in Weapon Mastery, being able to juggle multiple weapon styles at once and use them to an excellent point at which she's practically a master, making her an indomitable combatant based purely off skill alone, not even considering her reality-jumping powers. The Red Mist excels at pure, unadulterated strength; If there's a way to push through with brute force, no matter how insane or unfeasible, Kali can make it work by sheer determination and guts. The Indigo Elder excels at 'fishing'. He knows the Great Lake better than anyone else ever could, and thus in that corner of the City, he is undisputed king, characterized by an almost exceptional amount of fearlessness and expertise honed by age. It's unlikely he frequently fights humans, as his equipment is not specialized for that in the slightest, but he definitely still can based on how easily he disarmed Ricardo. The Blue Reverberation excelled at leadership and charismatic ability, able to bring numerous people of various creeds, groups, and beliefs (even contradictory ones, like Oswald and Pluto, who by all means should despise each other) together and somehow make it work wonders. The Black Silence excels in assassination, obviously, but Roland is also by far the greatest Generalist. He has the Charisma to fool just about everyone except Binah, the strength and stamina to fight for a week straight canonically, and the variability of multiple weapons which allows him to swap up his combat on the fly. Additionally, he has the talent of being able to replicate and improve upon the skills of others: His abilities with his own Workshop weapons are modelled after Angelica, and during his fight he uses upgraded versions of certain Pages that previously fought enemies use. (I really like The Black Silence, in case it wasn't obvious XD) But the point is, power-scaling with Fixers isn't really a thing. They have their own special niches, and so comparisons aren't going to be easy. They're all very, very interesting, hehe.

This Mirror Dungeon got rid of the Hardmode Weekly Bonus, splitting its Lunacy and exp between the 3 usual weekly bonuses. Hardmode allows you to consume all the Weekly Bonuses at once, but consuming the bonuses in 3 separate runs (normal or hard) gives slightly more battle pass EXP. So you aren't actually losing any lunacy by not having Hardmode unlocked, unlike previous Mirror Dungeons.

God I love that whale cutscene. The juxtaposition between the old man's respectful challenge and Ishmael's manic screaming waving a serrated toothpick was cool. As a Meursault enjoyer I really recommend grinding for Regret is possible. +2 Coin Power as a passive is insane, and the -1 Base Power can be counteracted with Capote but you can get that whenever. It makes EVERY Meursault ID good. See that base Meursault? With Regret only and no Capote he rolls a whopping 14/16/19 now. Now imagine that on a competent Meur ID like Kimsault, or whatever Project Moon is cooking for him in the future. The Frenchman has grown tired of mediocrity and the world is his oyster. TL;DR Regret. Spend 25 Thread. Bonk head. 30 roll TETH. Roll good. Really good.

Indigo Elder seems to be based of Santiago from the old man and the sea, a story about a guy who fished a giant marlin.

Indigo Elder is a reference to the Ernest Hemingway novel and 1990 film "The Old Man and the Sea".

Canto V's pacing is much better than IV's, but the dungeon in this chapter is still extremely long, so be prepared to have to stop in the middle. It really is a whole third of the canto

Now then, here is your ID review: Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair: Philip Sinclair is one of the more interesting Identities Limbus Company has had so far- His gimmick is SP management, like NClair, but to a lesser degree- You're trying to maximize the SP he gains as much as possible so he can be boosted to his E.G.O state. Outside of EGO, he clashes... rather poorly- An average S1, a below average S2 unless you fulfil his conditionals, and his S3 is the only one that is good. In EGO, however, his S1 reuses a coin, his S2 gains attack weight, and his S3 turns into the ridiculously high-rolling Blazing Strike, which inflicts a metric ton of Burn Potency. His passive also completely fixes his coin power problem, as with 5 owned Wrath (very easy to do with a Burn Team), he gets +1 Coin power for every 20 sanity, capping at 3 at 45 Sanity, meaning his poor clashing gets patched immensely. In short: He needs to be kept as sane as possible, and can inflict some of the most Burn Potency I've ever seen in my life. I love him.

Project moon did a teaser before the release of Limbus Company of Gebura and Roland talking about who the strongest Fixer is currently now that she left and the answer is that it's not conclusive nowadays and some people argue about those names: Siegfried, The Fixer of the Great Lake(who now we know it's Indigo elder),Jade Kirin, Artos, Hagen and also says if you include the Associations and Wings the list grows bigger.

If you're planning on shard exchanging for regret mersault, that ego is very interesting as the ego itself is underwhelming but the passive is extremely broken, so the recommendation is to threadspin it to 2 for the passive and just leaving it at that.

Philclair is an ID whose performance strongly depends on the type of content you use him in. He struggles in regular encounters, because by the time he manifests, most enemies are either dead or staggered already, preventing him from regaining the lost SP with clashes. You could try to feed him kills, but unless you're using S1 or getting a multikill on S2 he's just going to lose even more SP than he gains, and low SP means he's disadvantaged in getting the kill in the first place. This is exacerbated in MDN, where everybody else starts every fight at 45 SP while he has to build up only to end the fight with low SP again (at least pre-patch). Unopposed attacks in general are the bane of his existence because he _needs_ those clashes to build up and then maintain his SP. Against stronger enemies, abnormalities, or bosses, however, he's really strong. He gains SP much quicker than everybody else (though this also prevents him from benefiting from SP support), and these enemies live for long enough that he can actually start dishing out a lot of damage while manifesting. His S1 can deal 36 raw damage unbuffed, which is just nuts for a S1, not to mention his other skills. He's even better in MDH, because not only do enemies live long enough that he gets to deal damage to them, the ones that are killed by allies will give him extra SP, and because everybody else will be at 45 SP, all the SP support will consistently go to him. There's a bit of tech in deciding when to use his S3. Blazing Strike has funni big numbers, but it relies on building up SP _twice_ and then also having multiple conditions to deal most of its damage. Stigmatize meanwhile deals respectable damage on its own and helps you build up into EGO state in the first place.

while i havent finished yet, i didnt notice you notice it during the phillip overview, but his sanity condition while mostly default, is higher than usual, meaning that he gains sanity a lot faster than the average unit, perfect for speedrunning yourself into ego.

Think of all the colors being the same rank. Sure, there are some colors that are stronger than other colors, but they're still colors.

Colors are strong for one or more specific reason. Argalia was strong due to his connections and his ability to form an army in mere seconds plus he is strong. Kali is the pure definition of the word "strong" and also EGO so that is her upside. Roland/Angelica performs well in assassination. Vermillion Cross I dunno since he got killed before we even know anything about him. Vergillius is basically the same as Kali but less strong. Lastly, Indigo Elder and his proficiency at dealing with Whales. Basically, every color are as strong as Grade 1 Fixers the only distinction between these rank is their specialty.

Fun fact the indigo elder is most likely based on the 'old man of the sea' a book where a oldman braves the sea to fish up a marlin/swordfish by himself. Also he's mentioned in a convo between roland and gebura about her asking who's the strongest in the city

To keep Phillip sanity i recommend to have hon lu and yi sang base id on the bench their support passive are helpful.

I think that in Ruina, Roland mentioned both Kali and Indigo Elder as both being potential holders of the title of strongest color, so yeah, old man is not to mess around with.

About Faith, the ego gift - I got it on my first burn run with Philip, and yeah, it's good. For some reason it doesn't negate his initial SP drop, so he'll always drop to 25SP after transforming, but every subsequent turn is a freebie, he's always guaranteed to get to 45. And yeah, the only condition for the transformation is starting at above 40SP. If you start a fight at above 40, he immediately transforms and drops to 25SP. Faith does help a lot. I'd recommend base Yi Sang on the bench, obviously Kromer Faust too, since without Faith he keeps jumping up and down.

Aren't color fixers defined by being above ranking? Roland even noted that Argalia simply was not as specialized at combat, but had upper hand in charisma or whatever.

nice luck on the pulls, I wouldn't worry too much on builds, I think the game is designed so that as long as your characters have synergy, they can win, so I would say just focus on having fun

Not saying what you should do, but the only remainning feature extraction in the walpurgis is the rodya ego, if you dont want it, its better to simple shard the other stuff, the chance of getting anything not featured is really small and half of then will be more phillip sinclairs

Congrats in getting the 2nd strongest Sinclair to date. NClair is better for single target but Dawn Sinclair is better for general use and for AoE.

Limbus (using ID) is around lower to mid urban nightmare, executive of finger like Ricardo is around lower to mid star of the city, color is about upper star to impuritas. as for power rank of Color is a bit difficult, because fixer isn't just power, like Roland for example is originally information gatherer focused fixer, but one thing is for sure current Roland is stronger than any currently known color except perhaps for Gebura.
