Rugs have taken over my entire life at this point. I will watch rug cleaning, the people who make rugs, and now anytime I see a rug, my first thought is: I wanna clean that.

Don't complain about it, I fear my case is much worse. I binge on videos about rug cleaning AND cows' hooves trimming... I am a woman who up to a year ago had no interest in rugs at all and certainly will not ever have the need to trim the hooves of any cow, or even touch any cow, in my life.

@@dzagge9799 There might be a business idea there: start a luxury hoof trimming business. The cows would have a runway made of rugs to go to the crush where they would get their hooves trimmed. We would make videos about the hooves being trimmed, then videos about the rugs used for the runway being cleaned ;). I am quite sure it hasn't been done yet.

The colors in the rug, gives me that whole 1970s feel to it..... like the colors you'd find on kitchen appliances - either that weird mustardy yellow or the avocado green. You did a wonderful job on the cleaning!

I had all those colors in the ‘70’s. I went wild. Now when I look at pictures of it I almost cringe, but I loved it at the time. I even had plaid yellow, orange and avocado wallpaper.

Fire or flood damage are the most common I've seen when the rug gets this bad. Smoke, ash, mud, debris etc all settle on the rug, leaving it undamaged, but filthy.

Most of his rugs come from being left outside or in the dump even. He does a lot of rescue jobs and I love them all

Well done. Here's a thought for the really thick smaller rugs that tend to start traveling around the floor when you use the brush. Put a very lightly textured rubber mat under it to give it something to grab onto. Won't harm the wool, but it should keep it from trying to eat Dirt Reynolds.

I think you might need to call a plumber. Your drain doesn't seem to be working properly. It bothers me that it's not draining properly. I think my OCD is making me feel so uncomfortable with the drain not working properly. Sorry
