What's something mindblowing that you know about the universe? I know this seems like common knowledge but the fact that the entire universe was basically 'born' with the Big Bang is absolutely fascinating for me. I can't wrap my mind around the concept of something (or nothing) being there before the universe came into existence. Also what will be there after the universe dies? This is the perfect music to help me reflect about stuff like this. I hope it can be for you too ☺
Its size. Humans cant even dream of getting out of the solar system, but compared to our galaxy or the universe even that huge distance is nothing. We are so small... Ants on a big rock traveling in a big universe.
@@The_Entropist If we're not fond of asteroids or climate change, why embrace this apocalypse and try nothing? Shouldn't there be an entire field of science trying to figure out how to survive indefinitely or find out why an initial "source" of low entropy even existed in the first place? It's terrifying how this isn't seen more urgent or serious given the implications
Isn’t it funny how we humans refer to the universe as “up there”. Like away from us, something we can’t touch. Sometimes we do forget that we are up there. We are here. We’re just up here on a cute little rock.
Because we aren’t up there the world has us locked in place here and we will live all of our lives in that so called cute Little Rock anything you ever done in life has been here and none of us will have any impact in the universe therefore it will always be out of reach

This popped up in my feed just at the right moment. I've been really missing my best friend who passed away from suicide last year. We both loved listening to your channel when we'd get high together and contemplate life & the universe. I know he's still with me but he's been able to join the spirits and spread his joy there instead.
With all the disheartening things inherent to this period of time in the world, one thing that really encourages me are all the people that want to share their knowledge, experience, wisdom, and artistic effort on YT for little to no financial gain. This is such a long shot but... this channel uploaded a song like 10 that's sampled some Kirby sounds (I know that probably doesn't narrow it down at all lol) and it had lyrics along the lines of "he told me shake it / I told him 'no' " and "I turned around and I dropped him to the floor" wish I had a better description and who the producer/dj was. Still holding out and hoping it will ring a bell for someone.
Black holes don't actually suck a lot of matter into their centre. They make it spin faster and faster as they get closer to their centre, but they aren't hoovering up everything around them at a rapid rate.
Infinite Elation was your absolute. Timeless. Nothing will ever come close, ever. That was fundamental life experience , like watching Lost. Yeah, definitely hearing those old notes and echos of feeling that special way that really defined my formative years that nothing else has captured to date. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without that mix. Like a coming of home but a drive to the future.
