If you all hate this show why waste time watching clips and commenting on them ?? Stupid way to waste time hey I’ll go watch show clips of shows and movies I hate and comment how much I hate them !
I just rewached a Thanksgiving episode from the original show and Freddy has come a long way from being a highly allergic, non-sporty kid who couldn't catch a ball to a firefighter jock type in his thirties... And I wished they'd given David a bit more body. That character is highly under-developed, so he only purposes as a Niles-Daphne reference. He should've had at least his mother's social skills instead of being a full Niles clone. They already put a lot of Niles into Alan, so David couldve been more an original character with a couple of character trades from his parents.
He should have Nile’s quirks “I want a soft cloud of foam with just a whisper of cinnamon…” along with Daphne’s kindness and superstition. Maybe he starts believing he is psychic but is always predicting other peoples doom.
The writing in Cheers and Frasier was fabulous and ensured the high quality of the shows. This sounds like generic juvenile Hollywood....and I am sorry because I was hoping to like the new show.
Concur . Not funny . Sometimes characters need to develop and things improve . Cheers had a terrible start . But only ten episodes have been taped … soon decision has to be taken for additional ones … wonder if there is real interest
The chances of a spin-off being successful are miniscule….both in the movies and on television. While we can all name some successes, the horizon is littered with failures. And major players like Lucille Ball, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith, the MASH franchise, and on and on failed at come backs.
Quite agree. This writing is puerile and the supporting characters very badly chosen. Looks like a damaging ego trip for Kelsey. Sad as I’ve enjoyed Cheers and the original Frasier. Didn’t Kelsey realise it was actually Ted’s (Cheers) David’s and Johns show’s ?… Sometimes you can’t go home… 😪👵🇦🇺🇺🇸
@@notsureiL yes but his choices of women besides Daphne. Maris and Mel were unpleasant. (Mel was bet less....she just got worse because of Niles wanting to divorce and leave her for Daphne. While you can't blame her, even Niles was willing to go alone pretend their happily married in public eye for a while....she went to far...even Niles had it.) And between all this he's pining for Daphne. Even while he was married to Maris...and was dating/married Mel. Only to find out Daphne loves him....after he marrying Mel. And he had ended up sleeping with his ex sister in law, Lilith as well. Frasier was so horrified over it....but it did help both of them with their issues.... Niles relationships with women were screwy.
Also want to add. Daphne early learned that Niles had feelings for her through Frasier first...so Niles didn't even even tell her until Daphne asks him...and this is after his marriage to Mel. And he was willing to leave if she felt the same.
The writing is terrible and the show is just dry and disjointed.... I want to like it because I was a huge fan of the original show but I just can't the writing is so bad
I feel like the actors playing the roles of Freddy and Eve try a bit too hard. They always seem hyped up, especially Freddy. David on the other hand reminds me so much of Niles.
An ideal for David. David befriends a young woman who has a connection with Cheers. The behavior of the young woman causes David's Uncle Frasier to remind him of someone who is associated with Cheers. For David, the young woman is going to be a friend. Freddy and Eve start to noticed that David's female friend is one of the daughters of a well known and highly respected politician.

Freddie said he can never be with Eve. Not only because she is his dead best friend's partner. There is another reason..... GAY. Most likely. The previous scene when David asks about Eve.
@@notsureiLnah, saw this coming from the very first episode of course they're going to wind up together. On a slightly different note, her saying I hope you're a fast reader is the first time I've laughed at anything in this show. Then again if you didn't know this was Frazier it could be any one of 100 different shows with similar plot lines and characters
All the naysayers need to get the hell over yourselves. This show isn't going to be for everyone. Don't ruin it for the rest of us who find good things in it....
