Shalom, everyone! Welcome to today's message titled "There's God in Your Conscience."
In the story of Daniel, we see a remarkable example of unwavering faith and obedience to God, even in the face of dire circumstances. Daniel listened to the voice of God in his conscience, obeying Him despite being surrounded by enemies and facing exile. This story reminds us that God speaks to us through our conscience, guiding us even when His voice seems silent and the world around us is in chaos (Daniel 1:8).
But in these last days, many Christians are struggling with their faith. The love for God is growing cold, and the promise of the Holy Spirit seems distant. Unlike the early followers of Christ, who experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit after just ten days of waiting, many of us today are still waiting, fasting, and praying for years without feeling that same divine presence.
So, what's the difference? The early Christians had a deep reverence for God in their conscience. They lived by His teachings, treating sin as taboo within the Church (1 Corinthians 5:1-13; 7:1). They feared God in their conscience and obeyed His commandments. Today, many of us have strayed from this path. We disobey God in our conscience, allowing lies, fornication, fighting, and backbiting to take root in our lives.
In this message, we'll explore how acknowledging God in our conscience can transform our faith journey. We'll dive into the significance of listening to that still, small voice within us and how it can lead to a renewed experience of the Holy Spirit. Join me as we rediscover the profound truth that God is truly in our conscience, guiding and sustaining us every step of the way.
