I wish I had All that hair! My hair is long but you can’t even tell bc I’ve lost so much hair do you health issues 😢 Can anyone please tell me how they all got their hair so crimped ? was it just because it had been up in braids or some thing?
They look braided to me but if it was only the braids it wouldn't be crimped on the scalp so I believe it's second day hair where the hair was curled and the slept on braids could even be their natural texture stretched into braids or maybe even a crimping iron to some of them (I've seen quite a few commercials promising this result and it looks like the easiest way to achieve this result. You could achieve nice deep crimps with u pins, I'd direct you to Longhaired flapper on RU-vid who's been doing a few videos on actual methods available to people between 1890 and 1930s, mainly focusing on the 20s obviously
