@@rogerdevozza1867 Aside from that, the world needs good cars. There are enough advantages to the Lucid that I'd want one even if it were only moderately better for the environment. I care about the environment, but plenty of people buy EVs regardless of their views on the environment, simply because they want better cars.

You're not wrong, but that's part for the EV course. Ford is losing $120,000 per EV sold, but they obviously have ICE vehicle sales to support their transition. Lucid doesn't lose as much per EV, but they don't have ICE support.

It will things take time when you're building it from the ground up. It's not like you're helping build the infrastructure. Or assembling any of the vehicles. It's easy to bash a company from the side lines. Try creating something from nothing. That's where great minds and engineers shine.🫡💯🙌💎💎💎

@joespotz1 Patience is key. Things take time when you're building partnerships and a strong foundation of infrastructures and manufacturing plants where they need to be. You're not having to lift a finger in any of that. You don't know the sweat and tears that people have to do to build such massive buildings of that stature. It's easy to talk down to a company when you're talking on the sidelines. The Vision twenty thirty for saudi arabia will be epic. And lucid is a part of that. When you have big institutions like BlackRock, Vanguard and many others buying at these low prices. I wonder why. The retail investor not all but most can't handle the ups and Downs and the pressure, so they break and sell not I. I'll continue to add-on and holding strong the same way. These big institutions are doing.

@@iannealcole In the literal sense, that's true. The people who bought them can afford them. That doesn't mean that they are generally affordable. Nor should they be at this point. A company can't start off with a lower end car and then try to convince people later that it's capable of making a higher end car. They also can't start off with a lower end car and expect to sell it in volume when people never heard of it. The Air gets consistently good reviews and owners are very satisfied in general. The car will have to go through its early adopter phase first. Fortunately, Lucid has been doing a good job of refining things and adding features with OTA updates. I think it will take a few years before they shake everything out, but by the time they have something at a lower price point, I expect that people looking for something at that price point will feel comfortable getting a car from a company with a reputation for building award winning cars. I wouldn't say that the Air is perfect. I expect to see Dream Drive improve. The parts that are there work quite well, and have improved over the past six months or so. There are a lot of minor things that they can do with software that I hope they get done.

It will be the best SUV with the longest range, with new battery tech that goes over 500 miles and it will also win multiple awards year after year. That's a guarantee. That is a lucid guarantee, just like all the other LUCID vehicles. That won awards year after year.🏆🏁🏁

The same is true of any product before it's made. It's literally impossible for a rational person to expect anything else.

I'm not privy to know who pays what tax, but I'd guess that Elon's contribute to government coffers would be minimal.

You forgot the /s. Elon Musk holds the record for missed software deadlines for any automaker in history. People (myself included) paid for new cars with promised features, kept them longer than the average ownership period for new cars and never got the features.

The Saudis are well aware of where things stand, are aware that Lucid has only one model on the market, but needs to spend as much as a car company with several models on the market, despite not having revenue from older models that are being replaced, if they are going to be viable down the road and have multiple models. Lucid expected all along that it would need money to keep going and they don't expect to be profitable with just one high end model that was never expected to sell in high volume. It does take building a factory that can handle high volume production before they get to their third model, and doing it with nothing but the revenue from the first model isn't what they expected. There are many expenses when building a company, and most of them have nothing to do with building the individual cars being made now.
